There is no label inside that indicates the type of material, but it could be imitation silk as listed on the discription. It feels nice and silky, and definitely worth the money! I hope the colors will not fade after a wash; I'll update the review after I wash it. Definitely go one size up; I am glad I did. Overall, I am very impressed and would consider ordering their more expensive, silk version, in the future.An update: After couple of washes, the robe looks like new. I hand-washed it, spined it in the washer machine to get rid of excess water, and let it air dry.
