Hollypet Armadillo Squeaky Puppy Dog Toys for Small Medium Dogs, 8"

I ordered this for my 2year old, 55lb Staffy Pitt mix. She’s usually pretty rough on toys. She seems to either destroy them after 15 minutes, or, in a few instances, decides that she likes them enough to treat them more gently, in which they last for months or longer. I have no idea how she chooses, but in this case, she pretty much immediately ripped off part of an ear, but then, and since that time, has played and chewed on it without causing further damage. The toy is pretty adorable and looks and feels well made. It’s not constructed with a super durable material like some toys made for aggressive chewers are, but it’s also not marketed as a toy for aggressive chewers, so the material used is appropriate. The fabric feels dense and of a high quality, and the stitching looks to be of a high quality as well. I chose the 8-inch version in pink, and I’m happy with this size. It’s not too big, nor too small, and is easily portable. It arrived smashed up in a small bag, and I thought maybe it would be deformed when I took it out, but it wasn’t. It unfolded right away and then maintained its normal shape perfectly. Happy with this product, and after receiving it, I ended up ordering another, this time the 6-inch version, and while that is also a nice option, I like, and feel that the 8-inch version is a better deal. If this toy continues to last for a few more months, I would order another one, as my dog enjoys playing with it. It’s not her go to toy, but it is one of the few she keeps in playing rotation on a regular basis.

This small light weight dog toy is very durable, super cute, and my dog loves it. My dog tears everything up but he hasn't made a dent in this; very durable and chew resistant. He seems to really like that it makes a lower squeak noise. I threw this in my cart at the last minute before checkout and I am pleasantly surprised with the quality. I would say this toy is worth the price; suitable for small to medium sized dog.

My dog has had this for about a month, and it is still in good condition. The limbs have frayed a bit, but it’s honestly holding up very well. Most toys are destroyed completely within days, but this has sustained intense chewing, licking, and throwing. The squeaking also cracks me up because it sounds different from regular squeaky toys. This one has a deeper sound which I like. The toy is very light and easy to throw too.

We have a very vocal and sassy shorkiepoo and she instantly loved this toy. She is about 8 lbs, thinks she’s a queen but is actually just a diva, and she has decided this toy is perfect. She loves the crinkles and the squeaker in it and is currently enjoying chewing on the ears. It’s easy for her to fetch, and not too bulky or heavy to jump up on the couch with it. The squeaker seems like it’ll hold up when we wash this toy but I think she would play with it even if it didn’t. Great toy for the money!

The armadillo is cute. My pittie, Sasha, was very excited to see it. She just had TPLO surgery on her left knee (she tore her ACL just before the 4th of July), and I wanted to get her something she could play with while she convalesces, that isn't a ball—she really likes to run and jump and chase the ball, but with her knee out of commission, I didn't want her to get depressed being trapped in her crate while she heals—with this toy, she was able to keep playing and not over excert herself and get more hurt. It quickly became her favorite toy; she chews it relentlessly and gets made when I take it from her (see below). It makes a funky squeak that's not a high-pitched squeak, like I thought it would be; it's more a low-pitched, lowing sound like a baby calf. One thing I would like to point out to other purchasers about what the description says: "Durable and Long Lasting - Made from premium soft materials, our cute plush dog toys can withstand rough play for indoor or outdoor and last for years to come. The textured surface also helps massage and soothe your dog's gums during playtime" This is a little misleading. It's a good texture and Sasha loved to play with it, but it wasn't very durable. It might be when compared to other chew toys, but not for my baby. She tore the nose off within 20 minutes of getting it. The next morning, she ripped off an ear, and I had to pull the stuffing out of the face so she wouldn't eat it while chewing away. She doesn't seem to mind, but I sure wish it had held up a little more. All-in-all, this was a good toy for a few days.

This is one of my pug's favorite toys. He is very picky about toys and so far has only 3 toys that he has ever played with or carried around. It makes a grunting sound, but isn't super loud or overly annoying like other toys can be. It's held up very well, but he's a pug, so he's not really a big destroyer. If something happened to it, I would definitely replace it. I also thought the pricing was fair compared to similar toys available online or at pet stores.

UPDATE: This is the third one really good specially this blue one cause dogs really see the blue spectrum. But again, the funny buzzer just lasted 3 days, the reason is very simple: the dog bites the body of the toy and the buzzer system which is based on a plastic bag repository full of air, bursts and deflates completely, so the whistle stops sounding! Some days after, the thread starts to come undone in certain parts of the toy and the filling comes out, and the dog instinctively pulls it out and dangerously pulls out the squeaker too. Hope they improve the toy cause in conclusion: the whistle just last 3 days and in 15 days the toy falls apart! the dog loves this "animal" 4 stars cause it is not well made in terms of the thread and sewing class, so the dog finally open the toy and the funny buzzer inside is thin plastic is taken out from inside. The idea is good cause it sounds as soon as the dog bites. I guess i will purchase a new one but I will sew to reinforce the toy.

Super cute and durable toy. Makes a "grunting" noise that my dog loves. However rating a little lower because my dog has only been playing with it (gently) for a couple weeks and the grunting noise is starting to die. But she does really like this toy regardless!

Omg she loves this guy. I have to warn you, he is very noisy which used to scare her. She’s a Golden, what can I say - she’s a scaredy pup! But she does love him. He’s a good size and weight for her 😂

It ripped almost immediately. Our dog is usually really good about not destroying her dog toys but after five minutes it had ripped on one of the seem

This was a great toy to redirect biting since the shape and texture was soft and enticing for our pup. It hasnt been apart and they way our dog plays with it - she doesnt activate the squeaker.

My great Dane loves it. It’s large and makes a lot of noise. Excellent quality and value. Recommend to anyone with a large dog

Les couturea ne sont pas de bonne qualité. La peluche a duré moins de 10 minute .
