Garnier Hair Color Olia Ammonia-Free Brilliant Color Oil-Rich Permanent Hair Dye, 4.3 Dark Golden Brown, 1 Count (Packaging May Vary)

The color is great, it even colored some of the hair that was jet black. My hair was dyed black, but my natural color is dark brown, so I was trying to go back to my natural color. My hair had crown out about an inch or so when I decided to apply the dark brown. It did cover all of the gray and natural color that had already grown out. So I had a dark brown on top that graduated to the black that was already there, my hair is pretty long, going down past my shoulders. So, it looked kind of cool, not bad at all. The color leaves my hair really shiny. This is my go to brand because it covers well and leaves my hair so soft and shiny afterwards.

Not much smell, make hair soft and smooth. Best conditioner you can get, and it’s in a little bottle so you can use it many times. It’s hard to find dark golden brown. Careful with shampoo and hairspray and detangler to preserve the color. Use Its a 10 leave in detangler and Hask Biotin Boost shampoo and conditioner. All gluten free like this dye.

I use this hair color every 2 months. It's gentle on my scalp and covers my gray well.

At first I loved this color. The process was easy and straight foawrds with no serious side effects. However, each time I wash it, it is noticeably more washed out and the washed out color is orangeish. Now, I look like one of those little, old women with orange hair.

I had contacteczema from other products. This one has non problems. I use it all the time now. It covers grey and color is vibrant

I originally tried this as an impulse buy from Wal-Mart last year. The color on the box was so close to my own hair color that I couldn't resist buying it. Prior treatments looked artificial, and the coloring process was tedious. Garnier Olia didn't disappoint. At that time, my hair was waist-length, and there was more than enough product to cover it all. The result was so natural that no one noticed that my grey hair had disappeared. Wal-Mart quit carrying this color, so I was pleased to find this here, and cheaper to boot. I like the gentleness of the mixture and absence of ammonia, and the color lasted well over the usual commercial home coloring kit. I cut my hair over the summer after an accident, so I'll be mixing half and saving half (thanks for the tip from another user!) since it makes a LOT. Leave it on as long as the instructions tell you to, and you should see fine results. I wash my hair about once a week with an organic coconut oil shampoo, which doesn't strip the color the way commercial shampoos do. One small note: I like the little teardrop-shaped bottle so much I couldn't throw it away!

Very nice color but I find all hair colors fade so fast, but I like this brand.Wish the price would come down.
