eagle creek ORV 30" 2-Wheel Trunk - Rugged Large Suitcase with Wheels and Handle, Multi-Point Grab Handles, Internal Organization & Wet/Dry Compartment, Natural Stone

This is my second Eagle Creek bag. I also have the 30" ORV in black which is still going strong after almost 20 years! Purchased this for the increased size, to accommodate more items since we are cruisers and wanted to keep the number of bags down. Really happy with the purchase and expect it to have a long life as well, going on 4 years in use. The bag is extremely durable and rugged and versatile. We use packing cubes which also helps to organize items. The lower outside compartment is a waterproof compartment, so if items are wet/damp they can be placed here to keep separate from the rest of your luggage. This compartment is very large. All zippers are durable and large, but I do find that they can be inadvertently be opened rather easily...ie. baggage handlers grab one mistakenly...the zipper opens. So, i advise securing the zippers on the main compartments. This is the Beige bag, and wish I would have stayed with black. It really shows dirt rather easily...we all know bags get roughly handled in transit (especially by the airlines) and it will show the grime in pretty quick order. Good news is because of the durable materiel, its pretty easily cleaned up. The only negative aspect of the bag is that it is very easy to overload, meaning airline weight limitations. Because the main compartment is so large, and if using packing cubes you can really load it up. It is really easy to exceed the 50-60 pound limit with this thing, so if weight is a concern...make sure you have a travel scale handy. Eagle Creek is a great brand and would definitely buy again.

I was skeptical about purchasing this bag after reading some of the reviews about the zippers being hard or breaking, but I took the plunge. The zippers are hard, but because they are so rugged. They are well made and I put a lot of pressure on them. I found that if I aligned them when closing them, they worked much better. I rather have the ruggedness than wimpy zippers. I bought this bag for it's promise to be well made and I believe it is. The best part is how good looking it is. This bag is for men and women that need reliable, rugged, and good looking luggage. If you want dainty, this isn't it.

Perfect for international travel. Size is great. Quality is awesome. We did much research before buying and this met all qualities we were searching for. This was thrown around for on and off of a bus for 2 weeks and it still looks brand new. Pricey but well workers the mo way spent. This luggage will last many years and it also has the best warranty of all brands we looked at

I used this only one time round trip but I love it. I love I don’t have to stuff my shoes in plastic bags no more, there’s a dedicated pocket for them. I can fit some of my camera equipment in here so it’s just the right length for some light stands and a mono pole light stand. There’s a nice top pocket for toiletries and bathroom essentials. The net is nice to squash down clothes if I’m going somewhere for an extended period of time an need more space. The sides don’t fall down on you while your packing which is a huge plus. I had this thing packed to the max and it still STOOD UP!! While I was pulling it through the airport and on asphalt it never got squirrelly and tipped over on me. The pulling handle is just the right length. I’m about 5’9”. There is grip handles all over this thing so throwing it in a truck was simple. Wheels are nice, smooth and quiet. I will say the zippers scared me a little only because of past reviews. I also got some nice TSA locks for it and every pocket has a TSA locking system on the zippers so you can lock all compartment. Also once you’re done packing there’s 2 cinch down straps that compact your bag even more that’s super handy so it’s even more compact when you’re finished packing. 5 stars so far. It also looks like the airlines threw it around quite a bit even with fragile stickers all over it. An no tears or rips.

I'm used to bags like these opening from the side. This one opens from the end (the top of the bag). It works well with this design. The wheels seem to be holding up even after rolling over gravel. The bag seems well made and I think it will last longer than the 5.11 bag it replaces. The only flaw I see is that the placement of the tension straps causes the zipper cover flap to pull open when they are attached. If I were designing this bag I would have put the retention clips on the top of the flap so the straps would go over the zipper instead of outboard of the zipper. Other than that, I really like this bag and am glad I bought it.

I had high hopes for this duffle bag! I had this same bag, however, an older model that lasted me twenty years! I purchase this bag one month before I went on an international vacation so that I can have it in time for the trip. Upon arrival I find the handle shredded apart. Yes, I understand that Eagle Creek is the producer of this bag and there is no way of you knowing that it would be destructible. Unfortunately, nothing is made the way it used to be! Its all about making things these day for the lowest amount of money and not about quality! I purchased this item over a month ago and now I can't return it for several reasons. One...I am not able to speak to a customer service representative over the phone to explain the situation! Two... Amazon does not seem to stand by their products past their 30 day mark for returns. I am just trying to return a defective product and get a new bag! Amazon, when are people and companies going to produce and sell products that are of quality and not about production for the lowest bidder? Amazon, when are companies going to stand by the products they sell unconditionally? Amazon, I challenge you to do better!

I purchased this bag to transport scuba equipment to the Caribbean islands. This bag fit all of my stuff and more. It held two twin jet turbo fins with boots. A Zeagle Ranger BCD, along with Zeagle regulators. It held two small Pelican cases with my masks and defogger. I also had my XXL shortie, and some towels, scuba duffle bag, sunscreen, etc. I like that it stood upright in checking line. My previous bag kept falling over. This is my second eagle creek bag and would buy more when the need arises. You will not be disappointed. RB

First off, I am a frequent airline traveler and my last bag lasted just under 7 years. After a trip to Europe, my bag had enough wear and tear that a new bag was in order. I like to buy something that I feel will hold up to the numerous airline trips I have to take. The old bag was no longer available so I went in a different direction. From the picture, you can see that one strap failed and the other has a problem and won’t survive many more trips. For the cost, I was disappointed in the the durability and will not buy this product again. My plan is to cut off the straps and keep the bag as long as I can before a need arises for a new one. I will say that the zippers seem of high quality and the bag material appears to be tough. Wheels and handle work well. It would seem that Eagle Creek would have been better off not adding the straps and designing a bag that would not have such an issue from the beginning. Hence, the low rating.

同じ位の大きさの超？ハードなケースは持っていますが、ハードな分だけ？形が変わらず、中身が少ない場合でも大きさ変わらずで不便に感じていました。探しまくりこの商品を見つけました。購入する前に念のために価格を調べたところ、商店（？）により値段に２万円弱の差があることが分かりびっくりしました。何度も調べて 「同じ物」 と分かり注文しました。 最高（最低）の値段で購入でき、使用感抜群！！感謝です。 この商品に限りませんが「価格調べ」は必要だと感じました。

Hochwertige Verarbeitung und weiterentwickelte Features im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell (habe ich auch und bin immer noch sehr zufrieden) machen dies zu einem lohnenden Kauf - wenn man sich denn nach einem Neu-Preis unter 300 Euro erfolgreich umgeschaut hat. Gar kein Vergleich zu den üblichen Rollkoffern oder - Großtaschen bzw. den beliebten Alu-Reisekoffern oder Hartschale. Der Griff lässt sich nicht mehr so weit rausziehen wie "früher", reicht jedoch super aus, außerdem verschwindet der Griff in einer Reißverschlusstasche oben. - Diverse sichere und große Haltegriffe machen das Handling für Transporteure (zum Beispiel Hermes-Kofferversand) sicher einfacher. Die vielen Reißverschlüsse lasen sich gut mit kleinen oder großen (TSA-) Schlössern verschließen, da an den jeweils zwei Reißverschlüssen die entsprechenden, sich überlappenden, Ösen sind. Klare Kaufempfehlung - vorzugsweise auch eher helle Farben, das "Schwarz" ist doch ein wenig düster...
