A picture is said to be worth a thousand words...then this hammered dulcimer wall chart could be worth a thousand notes! For the beginner or more seasoned musician, it's a great navigational guide and can be a fantastic piece of artwork that starts conversation that leads into an evening of playing songs for friends and family = )Put into a nice poster or more traditional frame, it's a wonderful piece for a music room or for someone who is just a appreciates this beautiful antiquated instrument!

This is a classroom sized poster chart. It has great information and is easily readable. The only drawback I found was that although the paper and cover seemed substantial, in reverse rolling the chart for posting it ripped -- and continued ripping. Had to paste the chart together with shipping tape. It is OK solution, but the better would be a better quality poster paper.

I love it! I have a smaller 11/12 HD dulcimer, so with black magic marker, I outlined where my notes are on the chart. Then I laminated it and hung it on the wall in front of my dulcimer. Although I have "cheater strips," when I took off the treble strip, it was easy to look up and find the note I was looking for. Being a note reader, I liked the staff on the bottom because it shows you exactly where the note lies on the staff. It's easier to read than stringed dulcimer tab!

Nice chart. Use it often as a reference. I mounted it in a picture frame. It is a little bit large but I can see it from across the room.

Bought this for my son who has just got his first hammered dulcimer. It is very helpful in learning the parts. He likes having it.
