This Case has exceeded expectations. Here is Why:1.The leather quality, stitching, and fit are superb.2.There is no transition or synthetic exterior.3.There are no raw edges on cutouts.4.The leather wrap is flawless.5.I can easily locate switches and ports with one hand without a visual.6.The latching tab is arced and press fits over the phone edge. It stays put yet releases with a gentle, one-fingered nudge.7.The front cover is padded but not fluffy, presenting a sleek, thin, tactile grip.* My only concern will be a test of time for the cover hinge. The bottom cutouts leave thin leather strips which pivot when I flip the cover toward the back cover. I hope the leather does not dry out and fatigue.--That being said, I highly recommend this case for any environment you would carry a designer leather.

This case was such a disappointment. The note 9 doesn't even fit properly in the case, making it pop out of place... The clasp is flimsy and pops off as well. The connection at the bottom giving access to the headphone jack and s pen is flimsy as well, making it feel like it could break at any moment.. Don't waste your time or money on this particular case.

I was looking for something classy and unique for my Note9, and after endless hours of Amazon searching I finally hit the jackpot. This case is very well made, genuine leather, and just what I was looking for. I will definitely purchase another one whenever that time comes.

My fourth stilgut case for various phones. Quality leather. Offers lots of protection from accidental falls. Gorgeous cognac colour.

Like the case but seems very thin and not sure how much actual protection from a drop it will withstand. I like and prefer a case like this with an attached screen cover. Usually go with otterbox but they do not make a case with cover for a note 9 like my old S7+

Received this as a gift. The nicest leather cover I have ever used. Good quality and still looks new after 5 months. I wanted a vertical flip cover and this is it.

Not sure if I got a defective case or whether it's a design flaw, but as you can see in the picture it is not fit for purpose. The case does not close properly - the leather "hinge" part seems too short and has to be forcefully pressed to stretch (which would definitely affect durability). Even after pressing it hard, the flap does not close properly, leaving a visible gap that could be an easy way to scratch the screen with sand, keys, whatever. Also, if you force it closed, that requires so much pressure that the "hook" part on the top part of the screen rubs against the phone really hard - it will definitely leave a mark after some time. The case is also super slippery, there's not texture to the leather, although I could live with that if the fit was actually good.I'm very disappointed with this case, particularly given StilGut's reputation and the hefty price for this case. A delay in receiving my phone made me miss the return window - if it wasn't for that it would go back to Amazon. As such, it's just an expensive paperweight.

Fits perfectly and stays on. Quality leather finish which still looks very good after a few months of use. Not at all bulky. Seems to offer good protection as have dropped the phone a few times. The flip design means a screen protector isn't necessary,

This is my fifth Stilgut case over a 7-8 year period and they are all still in use and still look good.The materials used, finish and fit are great. I've tried other makes, but these are the best I've had and are my first choice.

Temía que la pestaña que sujeta la funda cerrada cediera con el uso, pero no ha sido así, agarra igual que el primer día. Para mí, la marca StilGut ha pasado a ser sinónimo de calidad. En este caso al menos, la factura alemana del producto se nota.
