It was oily and after a short time using it the chap stick got grainy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ doesn't irritate like other lip balms *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2020* This is the only lip balm I've found that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It does a great job of moisturizing and the scent is really nice too. ### ⭐ Texture - bad. Basil lavender - terrible! *by G***W on Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2019* I may be partial to lip balms since I've been making them at home for years. These Are not quite formulated correctly. The coconut oil makes it grainy, and it goes on too thick. It needs a better ratio of beeswax and cocoa butter with less coconut oil so it will apply in a thinner coat and not have granules of coconut oil in it. So the Rose & honey has a nice scent, but the basil lavender - to me, it smells like an old ashtray mixed with stale alcohol It's just bad. I asked three other people what they thought when they smelled it and all said something similar without any prompting - stale cigarettes, that guy that lives on the corner downtown... that's the other responses. So we all know basil and lavender smell nice in herb form, but basil essential oil does not smell nice.
