Theramed Universal Hot Pack

These have been a huge relief for me, helping me to nurse my achilles on both legs back to health. I've been using them for over a month 2-3 times day for 30 minutes each time. I sometimes wear them while walking to work and no one can see them under my dress pants and they stay on without worry. They are great, I wish I had bought these long ago! After 4-6 weeks of use the one side of the cold pack that has fabric is starting to rip away and will eventually fall off altogether. It's the protective covering so you can place it directly on your skin. I'm not sure what I'll do when this happens, might have to find cloth to put there instead or order a replacement. otherwise these have been great!

These are great when they don't blow up in your microwave. When I set a 1100watt microwave to the recommended 1 minute it does not get hot enough. When I set it for 90 seconds its starts to balloon and may or may not explode in the microwave.I've used these with much success for years but I have had a few explode on me. I was told the inner gel was non toxic and I have also had these leak after much use, but I have tried almost every heating product this size on the market and this is the most comfortable. I heat for a minute and let the outer shell cool for 10 seconds than heat for another 30 seconds and have a nic comfortable soothing and healing pack.Recommended by watch the clock! They can be terrific!

The pad heats up great and provides the heat needed. The only issue is with the cloth cover. It is difficult to fasten the strap snug. Also, since there are two 1" strips on the brown part, if you move around at all it can come lose. I threw away the cover and used one that has a strap that is the same width as the heating pad. It stays one very snug now.

This hot pack sucks, and has zero versatility. Pay a couple of more dollars and get a hot and cold pack. You could put a pound of rice in an old tube sock and make a much better hot pack that stays warmer longer. Don't even try putting this in the freezer as it will freeze into a block of ice.

I find this product extremely useful in applying heat to areas such as my knee, neck or arm, It's very flexible and has straps to keep it in place. The gel pack lasts for multiple applications and the pack is well worth the cost. I don't know of any comparable item on the market and give it five stars.

The last ones I purchased had at least 50% more contents! Since they are practically empty in comparison, they don't stay hot for more than a few minutes. Disappointing.

I am rehabbing both torn achilles tendons and this heating pad has been excellent! The gel pack can also be frozen and used that way, as well. The fabric case that holds the gel pack is durable and very comfortable; perfect size (adjustable)-- has been crucial to my therapy. I highly recommend this product.
