I have had to use this a handful of times. Most recently when three large dogs came bolting out of a wooded area and across a large field directly at my dog, myself, and my husband. They were all barking as they came directly for us, there was no one else around. I had this clipped to my waistband. I blasted them when they were about 75 ft away and they all turned around immediately and took off! I really don’t know what would have happened if I did not have this on me. The dogs all looked aggressive and threatening to us. I will buy another one when I need to. Highly recommend!

I use to go on long walks far from home in areas where there are a lot of dogs. None of them ever bothered me but occasionally people let there dogs loose and they come into my yard with my cats. The horn was very useful for getting them out and away. I do, however, feel like some dogs may completely ignore the horn. Its very loud, by the way. So definitely have to bring your authoritative voice. Another thing is the clip is sturdy so I never worried about to falling off my backpack. Fit perfectly dangling off a side pocket.

Easy to use and incredibly loud! I got this because our dog was attacked by an off leash dog at the park. After a test squeeze, I have no doubt this loud horn will be very effective to ward off any attackers. Heck, I think it will make all beings at the park stop in their tracks!

Very shrill, powerful sound. Be careful that you don’t injure your hearing. I used it to scare off skunks in my backyard. Twenty minutes later, my ears still are stunned. If you use it in a non-emergency, protect your ears.

Well, my curiousity got the better of me, so I had to test it to see how loud it was. It is VERY LOUD! I bought this because there are a lot of coyotes where I live, and I have a little Shih Tzu to protect. I hope I never have to use it for real, but I imagine would it scare off the coyotes if they were coming for my little girl, while blowing out my ear drums lol!

This PRODUCT deserves my fifty stars. I rescued a 90lb pit bull a year ago, solid muscle. She is about eight year's and has a horrid past. Beautiful, loving animal but has aggression to either another dog growling on a leash or leaping, barking from their lead line on lawn. I've tried watching numerous training video's, spent 700 on a trainer, spent endless hours on walks training, all without success. On our usual walk a huge dog was growling, leaping from her runner on lawn. My dog was almost impossible to hold back UNTIL, UNTIL..I pushed the button on Dog Horn XL. Presto. She jumped in the air, frightened and looked up at me to protect her. Bingo, exactly what I wanted PLUS onward we went. Now I won't have to walk her at night, no longer feel intimated and I have magically become my dog's whisperer. She trusts me to protect her. I've tried disappointed, frustrated and now happily succeeded. Money spent..$13. Money wasted $700. Do the math. I was not paid AND do not appreciate ppl not being honest. I just came back from our walk, immediately ordered another one, just in case. I'll have two (they come with a clip) to hang on either side of my pockets. The decilmeters is enough to cause awareness but not harm ears. This could save your life/dog's life - prevent a dangerous situation to occur. It's noise is strong enough to deter a dog fight, allow enough time to grab your dog. My animal's aggression isn't anything to disregard. Thank goodness, a million times over, for a product to finally solve my issues with my sweetie pie.

I do delivery for my job I carry both a electric dog device and this horn on me at the same time but this horn saved me EVERY time no matter how big,small,or breed it saved me from getting chewed out by 4 big farm dogs coming at me together. I've used other dog devices NOTHING compares to this horn it had worked on every aggressive dog I've encountered!. You can put it in your pocket too it's worth it I highly recommend! Will be buying more asap!.

I saw this at the vet's office (used to keep office cats out of trouble) and bought one for a family member who was having trouble with their dogs wanting to "face off" over food and snacks. It is LOUD and effective, it only took once or twice and the dogs decided to leave each other alone. It is handy and portable enough to carry around or keep nearby *just in case* and is still working after a year or so of only being used twice. An inexpensive handy purchase to have for indoor or outdoor use.

I haven't had a chance to use this horn but I think it will work because it is very loud and should scare off any dogs or coyotes.

I had 2 dogs bark and chase after me while cycling recently. I haven't had to use the horn yet but feel more secure having it, in case it should happen again!

Don’t waste your money on this piece of garbage! You can burp louder than this thing. Just more stuff for the land fill 🤬
