I feel like you really have to carefully review information on these Edison bulbs or it is easy to end up with a tone of light you do not want - too yellow, amber or too dim. Although the price from this supplier for these bulbs is competitive, this type of bulb is too expensive to make very many mistakes on the tone/glow you prefer. I read all the reviews and thanks to some very detailed people out there, I was able to get a very good description of these bulbs and they are great! The bulbs give off a nice clean daylight type light. No amber or yellow/gold tint at all, which was very important to me because in this case I wasn't looking for a "warm" light tone. I like the shape of the Edison bulbs, and purchased a bathroom fixture for my guest bathroom that came with 3 of the amber colored ones. The amber ones are not good in a bathroom if you want to be able to actually look in the mirror and see what you are doing, check makeup, etc. I was afraid these bulbs would be too bright for the bathroom, since they are 800 lumens each and I needed 3 of them. I love them. They give out a nice clean daylight tone and make the new paint in my bathroom appear the color I chose, which was not the case with the amber bulbs. I have only had them a few days, so cannot comment yet on how long they will last, but at least I can help someone out there regarding the color.

Beautiful bulbs! According to lighting professionals this color bulb (the 2700k warm) is the perfect color temperature for dining rooms and bathrooms, and thats exactly where I put them... 3 in each. They are bright, LOOK beautiful and classy, are a wonderful kelvin temperature, don't flicker etc. 3 of them are in an elegant old-time looking fan in my dining room, 3 of them are in a 3-bulb sconce in the bathroom. They light up my bathroom so vibrantly and accurately that it literally looks like there is pure daylight in my otherwise dim bathroom. Its funny... with the windows closed and lights on, it looks like pure daylight in the bathroom. With the lights on and windows open, there is no noticeable color difference.. they blend superbly. I dont have any more need in my house for this exact specific bulb, but will buy them again if they fill my particular niche.

I was all but ready to give up on the Edison style bulbs as the prices in the stores were outrageous. Found these and I couldn’t be happier. They look amazing in my new light fixture and holy bright Batman...I need to install a dimmer switch now! 😃

They are much warmer and less brighter than 4 standard 60 watt light bulbs. The standard have a bright white light and these cast a warm yellow but still plenty of light for an average sized bathroom. If you are particular about makeup you may not like the warm cast from these.

The bulbs turned out to be bigger than expected. The box they arrived in was covered with oil and shipped inside of another box without packing. They did survive transit but by luck. They are dimmable but extinguish before they are candle light dim. On full power they are very bright. Not sure if I will buy again.

We bought these lights a few months ago for our porch. They’re beautiful!However, we came outside to find the outer bulb shattered on the ground. Upon further review, other bulbs in the box are also detached or not well attached to the base. It’s a safety issue that would prevent me from buying these again. They’re not worth the price if you’re not truly getting six working bulbs.

These are GREAT. I was looking for an Edison bulb that was bright. This fits the bill. Tried out 2 other types from the hardware store before these and they were far too dim.

I bought these bulbs to replace some very dated looking globe bulbs. These are brighter, far more efficient, better looking, and a great replacement. These have let us put off our bath remodel for a while.
