They are made of what kind of plastic? Do they mention in the box if it does contain bpa, pvc, phtalates, etc?

I contacted the company and the are made out pvc - which the rep stated was boa free pvc however pvc is made out of binyl chloride which is a carcino

When you squeeze it does it squeak?

There are chemicals that absorb energy when exposed to light (sunlight is best), and then slowly release that energy. When these chemicals are in the dark the energy they release typically appears as a soft green glow (there are other chemicals that glow in other colors). One of the most commonly used of these chemicals is called "copper-activated zinc sulfide." Other forms of luminescence can be the result of nuclear breakdowns, but these aren't used in toys. The copper-activated zinc sulfide is safe for young children unless you cut it up and feed it to them, which would mean YOU are a danger to your children.
