Shingles Relief: How to Relieve the Pain of Herpes Zoster, Treat the Herpes Virus, and Prevent Future Outbreaks

Am happy with this book it helps me get rid of my shingles, very informative

I bought 3 books about relieving the pain of shingles on 12/3/2025. All three books arrived 12/6/2925. I read all three that afternoon. The most informative book was "Shingles Relief" by Deborah Bleecker. The other two (Shingles Relief! cutting through the bs and Healing Shingles Naturally) were not worth my time to read. They contained info that was not useful and seemed to be just researched from the internet. Shingles Relief by Deborah Bleecker was written from experience in trying to treat her mother. I plan on using a lot of the supplements and protocols she set forth in her book. It is very well written and informative.

I bought the book when I realized that the name of the disease was for the same disease as the one which we in Denmark, when I was a child, then called something like “the devil’s disease”. I have never met this disease, but would like to learn about it. The book turned up to be much more content than I had expected. That is besides acupuncture, also cupping, plum blossom therapy and more. And detailed, information and with helpful pictures. Back in 1995, then one day I woke up with pain in the left knee, so that I nearly could not work. Then I went to my doctor, who in France had been educated in acupuncture. Only two visits, and not yet again the same problem. Among other, therefore, I am interested in the Chines medicine. The book contains also much information about herbs, but the mixtures which are mentioned I don’t think that I can get out there in Thailand, and it’s not allowed for me to buy even vitamins from other countries. As a side remark. In the book there is written about vitamin C, and talked about high doses, when only mentioned 2,000 mg, and on the next side 8,000 mg. But then I recall how Linus Pauling told that he took 100 grams, when he health that flu was watching him. And we have also read about person taking 200 grams. But besides we have to take it during the day, as we read about its short half-life, some write half an hour, other write 3 hours. But all together, a very good book, which will result in my order of acupuncture book which she has written.

Mostly this recommends things like accupunture for shingles' pain. I really didn't find it too helpful.

I tend to not give 5 stars just because that's a perfect score. This book may not be perfect but it really is very useful. I'm an acupuncturist and glad to have all this info. I'll also recommend it to my patients. The author became an expert in the treatment of shingles when her mother suffered terribly from it. She has tried several products for internal and external use in treating shingles and relieving some of the very unpleasant symptoms and lists them in the book. I definitely recommend the book to those with the disease or those who treat it. I hope the author writes more books on treating particular conditions naturally.

Again Ms. Bleecker has written a concise but complete guide to an ailment that affects a surprisingly large number of people. I relate! Recently my own mother suffered from shingles. Though it was relatively mild, it was obviously painful and embarrassing! Traditional medicine seemed to only go so far. This book puts the power back in the hands of the patient and those tasked with their care. Ms. Bleecker's tenderness toward her own mother is evident, and it clearly is the "back story" to this book.

Good information, however none worked

This is a very well-written book. It explains truly all you need to know about the ailment and what vitamins or herbs will heal you faster. Also the author has made brand suggestions which will make looking for a good product that works easier. It is money and time well-spent.

Great book not because it is written by a great author but because has a lot of information than can be put on practice and possibly find a solution and prompt recovery from this terrible virus when gets active. I found a solution and I'm happy I made the decision to buy this book.

Very very helpful book to deal with shingles. Has helped me stop the viral infection in its tracks with holistic and Chinese medicine. Easy to read and understand.
