The start/run capacitor blew out when I started up the well this spring. I looked into replacing just the capacitor, but that 1 part (with shipping) was nearly the same price as this new controller. This turned out to be a direct replacement for my 30 year old pump controller but my pump is so old I couldn't cross reference it. The winding resistances on the pump were within the tolerances of this controller so i decided to give it a try. Close in size, too. Has better wiring terminals making the replacement straight forward. Switched on the breaker and got cold clear water again. Hopefully I'll get 30 years out of this one, too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 240V control box *by on Reviewed in the United States June 30, 2016* Did not need this control box.
