3 years at distribution inputs and outputs
Nice product but the outputs are one 4 awg and two 8 awg all 3 wonโt take 4 awg also the 0 awg in was very tight but apart from that its very sturdy and well made just wish the listing was clearer

Solved a problem. Quality just about OK.
I have two amps and a processor in my boot. I installed them several years ago using those gold coloured connector blocks with one in and four connections out. These have worked OK for 7-8 years, but my cables just had bare copper ends and one finally worked loose recently. I wanted to redo the connections properly with ferrules but my existing blocks wouldnโt quite accept the ferrules I found. These blocks can accept larger gauge wires and usefully have a removable reducer on the โinโ connection. I had to remove the reducer to get my supply power and earth wires in. With the ferrules on and the reducers in place they wouldnโt quite go (the same as my old blocks). I did not pre-crimp the โinโ ferrules or the two out ferrules for the amps. The processor has a much smaller gauge wire on which I decided to pre-crimp a bootlace ferrule. Even though this was much smaller than the capacity of the block, I was able to get it nice and secure because the clamping screws go all the way down. On the rest of the connections I used the clamping screws to crimp the ferrules and the results seem very good. The finish on the blocks is not A1. The visible parts are fine, but looking into the connection openings shows that the plating is not that amazing. The base plates are thick enough to secure the blocks with no problems and the clear covers go on and off fine (although I suspect they might get a bit rattly if taken off too many times). Overall Iโm happy as these allowed me to solve the issue pretty quickly and I found the process of swapping my old blocks out and getting everything neat fairly painless. I do need to do a little more work as these blocks are wider. My power and earth wiring runs quite close down one side if the boot and the wider block mean that one of the runs now has to bend round the block. Not an issue if youโre planning a new install.

Small, tidy, neat
I have used two of these as part of a custom boot installation with 4awg going in and out to the amplifier, and then a 20awg cable for the DSP unit without issue. I would prefer if it was sold with ferrule rings to make clean and safer connections, but they are available to purchase elsewhere separtely. The units feel well made and the threaded clamp points are strong.
