Very soft for baby blankets

I have been crocheting for 50 years and all that time I have been using the economy / affordable acrylic yarns. Yeah, the uber expensive natural fibers would be nice, but not for something that is going to be getting a lot of use and constant washing. I got this to make a sweater / cardigan that needed a 3 weight yarn. The cardigan came out wonderfully, washed well and earned a fair price in the charity auction I made it for. I also used the left over along with lavender of the same yarn to make a corner to corner baby blanket that came out well. Affordable price if you need a 3 weight that can stand up to regular use and washings.

Absolutely love this yarn I have been looking for it but I guess this item is discontinued I have found other yarns but not the same texture which I love and plus I have a big project that I needed it this specific texture.

The only reason I didn't give this a full five stars is because it really isn't as soft as baby yarn should be . honestly I was a bit disappointed in Bernat for this, but not enough to stop buying their products all together. If you're looking for a sturdy yarn this is your yarn. If you're looking for a soft baby yarn, choose another Bernat yarn, because this is not baby soft.

Great buy this yarn is just what I was looking for, its my go to soft yarn for baby blankets and comes in so many colors to choose from.

Can make one baby blanket with this jumbo ball of yarn! Not too soft while working with it but once washed it’s very soft and stands up well with frequent washing that’s necessary with babies

I use this yarn to crochet baby blankets . I like the colour of this yarn for a baby boy and it is easy to work with. It is an acrylic yarn so it is easy to wash and dry for baby spills. Everyone I have given a blanket made of this yarn has loved it for its look and easy care.

I've been using this brand of yarn for years. It's a very strong yarn. Your projects can be machine washed & dried. I would highly recommend this for your projects.
