Are the arms adjustable to support a narrow tall shade?

As a customer I have been requested to answer your question. I fear there is not enough information. For instance, height, weight, glass ? I bought these for a glass globe lampshade. Actually they do the job but the shade I bought is really to small? So with that in mind, I imagine they would work for your tall shade as long as it has a firm base. The 3 wings should keep it in place. I also look at it this way, for the price it’s worth a punt and what alternative is there?
