I carried this thing for half a mile with little problem walking through the sand on the beach. It was surprisingly lighter than expected yet still very sturdy. Folding to the compact size made storing it easier. Parts froze in place and did not loosen while I took shots. I felt confident that nothing would slip. I greatly appreciated the strength, durability and compact size. Comes with a small carrying bag that is durable and the tripod has no problem fitting in to. I really appreciate this buy! Sturdy, sturdy, sturdy! Highly recommend.

Exceptionally good tripod. Very versitile. I am very pleased with it and highly recomend it. Price is great. Very sturdy and numerous features includes phone adapter, extension, and hex keys. I have used it with a DSLR camera, film SLR camera, phone camera, video camera and binoculars. the monopod is very helpful. The bag it comes with is of good quality.

Whoa...I can't believe this thing weighs less than 3 lbs! I got this for my boyfriend as a present since I already own a bitching set of Gitzo carbon fiber legs with a heavy-duty pan-tilt head for my setup and his Slik full-sized tripod weighs a ton, so he hardly ever packs it when we fly anywhere. Anyhow, quite a sturdy little guy, this tripod is and totally worth every penny. It's such a steal at the price point for all that it does, for sure. Using this tripod made me nostalgic of the flip-locks days. The head is mostly plastic, so it's not meant to be used for any heavy f/2.8 telephotos unless it's set in straight no-frills landscape mode. The description says it can support up to 17.64 lbs, but I wouldn't trust this in any windy situation for a 10+ lbs setup, even then, I would always hang a heavy bag underneath for added stability (as shown in one of the photos). In the portrait mode, I'm afraid it will easily tilt over from the weight of any pro lens, which is true of most cheap ball heads, and all pistol grips type regardless of price anyhow. I like that the QR plate is symmetrical so you can't really mount the camera on incorrectly like we typically do when we rush mounting on our respective Manfrotto QR's. I don't love that it uses an 3/8" screw to secure the QR plate though, there's no snap into place feeling with Bogen QR's and it's not super quick. But this is under $70, so you get what you pay for and this is a fairly minor setback because it's so light that we will actually take it on road trips and flights anywhere, which is the main selling point. Oh, and this comes with a durable-looking plain and simple gear bag.

This tripod is very sturdy and adjusts quickly. It provides so many possiblities for shooting, and closes down to be quite compact. I love that it comes with a carrying case too. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a tripod.

Very stable lightweight tripod. Much better than all of the cheap ones I've been using for years. Typically the head is the first part to fail, this one is built very sturdily so I'm not too worried about it. The only thing I dislike is that the elevation shaft is a bit woblly when raising and lowering, however once it's locked in place it's not too much of a problem.

Strong and sleek in design. Works great. Does not feel or look cheap at all. Bag is also sturdy. It would have been even better if a compatible pan head was also provided along with the ball head that comes with the product.

A Gitzo this is not, but for the price, its pretty great. The panning head is very smooth, which was a big deal for me on this one. It comes with a nice zippered bag, and I really like that its designed so that you can use one leg as a monopod. I do with that the clamps for extending the legs were a little sturdier. They are made out of very beefy plastic so its not as if the clamp is going to release, but some nice machined aluminum would have been a little better I think. Overall pretty great. I will be using this as my traveling tripod. One small note, you can get about as low as 12 inches or so if you want to. Thats a really nice benefit of this model. Beware, there are a few knockoffs on here, I had to make sure I was ordering directly from Heoysn!

I love this Tripod for ease of use. Most of my shots with it are when I run out on my deck to get a shot of wildlife. It is very quick, lightweight yet stable.
