It is made from a thick tarp like plastic material that feels much sturdier than the mattress protectors I have purchased in the past. It's made of really heavy-duty tarp material with sturdy handles big sturdy zippers. It even has a slot with a label card so you can make a note what size mattress and or whose room the mattress belongs in. I'm very pleased. I'm a small stature older women and it took 5 minutes to get my queen size mattress 12" in this bag BY MYSELF. This bag opens up so it makes it so easy to get it in, it just slides right in and zips right up. I bought a King and not the Queen size because I thought maybe in the future, I might get a King or that this bag might run small. Not so, there is ample room even if you can a King 14" or Queen 14". So sizing is not an issue. I'm VERY PLEASED. JUST A NOTE, make sure you Zip tie the zipper end together if you are moving the mattress in open truck or trailer, the zippers slide easy and they might slide down and expose the mattress to weather, dust elements. This is so well-made and worth every cent! It is hard to find anything well-made now a days or worth the money you spend. But I give this bag A+++.

Received 2 each queen mattress bags as requested. Promptly installed them on queen mattress and box spring set with room to spare. They appear well made each with a large zipper that travels smoothly with both ends reaching one long side which facilitates installation by one person. By unzipping and placing bag adjacent to mattress (with bag's long side without zipper on floor) and mattress leaning against wall, was able to lift each end of mattress and set into bag followed by zipping 3 sides. Repeated for box spring. Bag handles were very functional. Seems sufficiently sealed to protect mattress/box from sudden down pour. We would buy again. Rated this product (4 of 5) based on ease of use, but it's long term storage durability yet TBD.
