The puppy has to chew on it rather than break it into dangerous pieces. The price per pound is reasonable for the quality and the time it takes her to go through one. Note that there are many chews out there to choose from and some can be incredibly expensive if you do the math and consider the pound price, like $35-70 a pound or more. Beautiful set of bowls, easy to clean, perfect size for my 20lbs Pomeranian/Shihzu mix. Holds roughly 3 cups of kibble and can mix with wet food if needed. It’s very stable when on the floor because of the rubber grip at the bottom. So far no issue with durability. I only use one to feed her and one for water.

They stay still in a bumpy truck ride!!! smaller than i thought but still works for ice and when we get to our destination i give the dogs water. they won't drink water in the truck.. go figure!! built well they are easy to clean but my one small dog carries it around the house..lol. still in 1 piece..lol.

when I rec'd the bowls, I thought way to small. Fostering 5 rescue GSPx pups 5 mos. old, from 25-40 lbs, & never had their own bowls. After unwrapping them I was pleasantly how nice they were. Deep enough to keep food in, not to wide the food is to far spread around. Decent weight & the non slip on the bottom is perfect. Very happy with the bowls, and the super fast delivery.

Perfect size for my greyhound and her long snooter, and quality is excellent. The non slip bottom successfully stops it from sliding all over the place when she's eating.
