Stewart's Pro-Treat 1.5 Ounce Tub Freeze Dried Dog Treats, Chicken Liver

My dog loves these. Just the smell alone is enough to grab her attention. So much so that I had her off lead outside and she wouldn't leave my side with these in hand. Her recall is a little sketchy as her distraction rate is high. These really kept her focussed and by my side. I would live give 5 stars but most of what I got was powder. Good for a food topper but not what I ordered or intended.

I have bought these dozens of times for my dogs. If you need a high reward or training treat, I highly recommend these. They love the taste, the ingredients are simple, and they’re really affordable. The pieces are all different sizes, and I actually love it this way because I can break apart the larger ones for multiple treats and I can crush the smaller ones to sprinkle s as a kibble topper. I will always buy these.

These would be perfect except for the inconsistency in size. The price & ingredients are perfect but the size varies so much! Cutting these down just makes a mess but my foster pup isn't complaining about the taste :)

These treats seemed like a healthier alternative to some of the other treats I saw listed. I bought them for the Activities lady at my care center, who delivers my Amazon packages to me. She has a therapy dog that she brings to work, and the dog, Lily, is always sniffing around my room looking for snacks. She probably smells the snacks I have for myself, so I decided to get her some treats for when she comes in with my deliveries. Lily eagerly took one after sniffing it, then wanted more, so she must have liked the taste. After two bites, she still wanted more, but given how little was in the big container (it was barely 1/2 full), I decided to save the rest for future visits. Given the inexpensive price, it is a pretty fair deal. I only took off one star because the package made it look like there would be a lot more than there actually was. It does say there is only 1.5 oz in the container, but like most people, I was eyeing the container, not weighing it out in my head. I would prefer they put the treats in a clear package, so you can get a better idea of how much (or little) is in the container. The picture shown only has two small pieces taken out of it, and you can see how empty it looks.

My picky little Chihuahua won't touch anything new. He is the pickiest dog I've ever met. I've never seen him devour anything so fast as when I let him try these! He immediately whined for more...which has never happened before. There was not any crumbs or liver dust in mine, which I wouldn't have minded because I would have used it as a food topper. I immediately ordered more and will continue to do so! Just buy them. The price is good and apparently they taste pretty doggone good! He loves both the chicken and beef liver. (Yes, they do smell like you'd expect liver to smell. No shock there.) Edited to add: I've bought these several times now and it's unfortunate that the price continues to raise every time. I may have to go back to my previous brand because these have nearly doubled in price in just the last month and are now more than the brand I switched from because they were so expensive.

My dog loves these. I mean LOVES them. I discovered them at his veterinarian, and when he went crazy over them, I ordered some for home. They don't have an overpowering smell. They must taste good because Bear gobbles them as fast as he can. They are soft enough for his old teeth but have some crunch. It's hard to know how fresh they are since they are freeze dried with the consistency a little like styrofoam. They may cost a little more than his other treats but it's worth it. They also distract him so I can give him his insulin shot - he's so focused on gobbling these up, most times he won't notice the shot as much, though it's never ideal to have to give your dog insulin shots 2x a day.
