Kaytee Forti-Diet Pro Health Chinchilla Food 3lb

It has lots of goodies that my chinchilla loves.

This chinchilla food works well for our chinchilla's. They are our pets and they have everything that they need to eat in this complete food. We of course give treats but that is added for fun and for the pets to enjoy. This food smells fresh from the time you open the bag. The size is the amount that I expected to get. Not a tiny bag. It lasts a long time, as the chinchilla's don't eat very much at a time. It seemed to taste good, as they enjoyed eating it. They stayed very healthy while eating it.

My chinchilla can be a little picky. He eats the treats first, of course, then he eats the grain bits. He has been a Kay-Tee consumer for a while now, as I do not like to change brands very often. He has always liked the other Kaytee products & this food is no different. He has finished three bags thus far & he is still alive & looks healthy. I supplement with fresh fruit and hay because he loves variety. Gigio is about 14 years old! Bless his mess!

My chinchilla is not a huge pellet fan. I figured he wouldn't care much for this, either. But he seems to love it! At first, he really enjoyed the blue and terra cotta pieces, but didn't eat much of the green ones. Now he loves all the pieces, even the plain pellets. What is this, some kind of crack? In any case, I have another bag in my cart.

Después de buscar varias marcas, esta fue la única que mi chinchilla se terminaba completa. Suelo a veces separar los pellets de colores y se los doy como premios, le encantan. Aún abierto, los pellets se mantienen frescos y crujientes. Además de que la relación precio/calidad es muy buena, a diferencia de otros productos. Llevo tres años con mi chinchi y no ha habido ningún problema, además de que ya no lo cambia por nada.

Es un buen alimento para variar la dieta de la chinchilla, es importante resaltar que además de este alimento también hay que darles heno.

Mi chinchilla le tomo tiempo acostumbrarse a este tipo de comida anteriormente compraba el heno de Timothy pero se enfado de ese alimento y opte por este otro lleva mas de 8 meses comiéndolo y parece que ya le gusto pero siempre es importante incorporar nueces y frutos secos en su dieta.
