Having loathed the sight of a cheap veneered chipboard fire surround, I decided to change it’s appearance. These were easy to apply and burst into life with a dab of paint. I love them 🖤

It Look as if 2 types of wood have been used in manufacturing. It wasn't obvious at first. But as soon as i applied oil, the onlays took on 2 different tones and the join line became clear. Not an issue if you want to paint or leave bare. But if you want to apply an oil finish it will show up. I may have got unlucky and this could just be a one off, but its Still worth taking into consideration if an oil finish is what you want.

These are exactly as desccribed. I like decorative details, and this really worked nicely for an outdoor project. I painted these, glued and screwed them to a small piece of wood. Then screwed the whole thing to an outdoor arched trellis I made prior. I did spray a clear coat of poly urethane to give it some durability in the extreme weather conditions where I live in the Northwest.

Tutto ok.

My wife loves these, worked great on a boring picture frame. Added class to the picture. I would buy again.
