Cool Carpet Cabinets
Good affordable option. I think if I was gigging and always moving my equipment around then I would likely want something wrapped in tolex, but I just play and record stuff at home and the carpet is a good cozy option. I made the little frames and threw some cheap speaker cloth on them. Added a pull loop for convenience. They sound good and I donโt have any complaints with the acoustics. They are lightweight but still feel solid. The wires did come off the input on the way here, but I easily soldered them back on. Worth mentioning here though. In conclusion, if you want to sound really good at home and donโt mind potentially ending up with a little rat fuzz down the road, then these will be great for you.

Solid construction & good quality!
Received item in a damaged box but it didnโt seem to effect the product. Item is well built with good quality materials & the perfect size for my new 12โ amp speaker which dropped right in after soldering the connections. Looks good upon assembly & installation, sounds good when connected to one of my mini amp heads!

Excellent 112 Cab for the $$$
Excellent budget friendly 112 cabinet made from solid plywood. It looks like this company specializes in Car audio enclosures, and this cab is made in similar fashion This has it's pros and cons. Pros 1) Cheap 2) Solid Plywood 3) Sturdy 4) Light 5) Quick Shipping Cons 1) Slightly narrow (See the Katana head on top overhangs a little). Luckily the feet fit on top just fine, just doesn't look the best 2) Carpeted covering is not the most aesthetic, but then again this is a car audio company so they used what they had on hand, helps keep cost down. 3) Can't open the back to install speaker rear mount. This like a sub box, is front mount only. 4) Included wires are too short. I wish they were 6-8 inches longer. Should work ok if using spade connectors, but I wanted to solder, and ended up using my own wires. Suggestions for the vendor 1) Make a slightly wider cabinet so that amp heads can fit. 2) Offer tolex options? If not feaslable, then offer raw wood cabinets that the consumer can stain or paint themselves. 3) Longer wires 4) Option for an open back or removable back like normal speaker cabinets. So the speaker can be rear mounted. 5) Offer a wood frame that can fit on the front where the user can install grill cloth.

Excellent for the money, but brush up on your soldering
Okay, so build quality was excellent, no issues there. I did have to break out the soldering iron though. Between the short wire lead and a cold joint, I had to reattach the negative lead out of the box. I'd buy it again, but we're going 4 stars due to the length of the wiring leads and that bad solder joint. Otherwise, put an Eminence Swamp Thang in and played my first practice, sounds great. Metal corners, rubber feet, overall a great box! ๐๐ผ

Great little cab!
Perfect for my needs. Great price. A little bigger would be nice in some cases. But the size works and is very portable.

Amazingly Awesome Cabinet.....Get Some!
This cabinet is the bomb. Its construction is solid, it's caulked and it sounds simply amazing with my Celestion G12K-85 from the 80s. I have several other speakers I am going to load in and test, but so far I am truly impressed. For the price of this cabinet, you'd be hard-pressed to build your own for less than $90 in time and materials. I kinda agonized over purchasing this cabinet, and I wish I had just bought it sooner. I actually plan to buy 1 or 2 more of them so that my speakers are ready to go when I need them and I won't have to bother switching them out. The primary purpose I am using it for is to capture speaker impulse responses, and let me tell you that they are sounding amazing. I have a Harley Benton 2x12 Vertical and the IRs from that sound great, but these in this 1x12 are tight and reactive and they give a whole different dimension. I cannot wait to load my V30 into the cabinet and capture a set of IRs. I think my IR library is going to be well enhanced with the addition of this 1x12. While I do love the cabinet, I will state a few things that do not thrill me. I don't care for the carpet covering at all. It attracts dust and dirt so quickly. I instantly replaced the jack with another I had on-hand that had spade connectors already attached. I also didn't like that I had to drill holes to mount the speaker. Those minor gripes aside, I won't hesitate to buy more of them when the budget permits.

Low cost option that works
I am using this as a bass cabinet. It uses what appears to be 3/4" plywood. No bracing, but seems pretty solid. The interior is caulked, and the jack was soldered to a beefy speaker cable. I replaced the jack with a Switchcraft and used a longer speaker cable so that you can easily remove the speaker. I filled the interior with TroyStudio speaker insulation. I added casters and installed a grill to protect the speaker. For the driver i used a 4 ohm 12" PA speaker s. I have a 200watt micro head, and this actually seems robust enough to do a small club or bar gig with.

You will need to Solder
This is the second one I have bought. They are generally well made and solid. Only issue is I have had to solder the wires to the quarter inch jack input on both boxes. This tells me they are not inspecting before they ship them from the factory.
