DORISILK Professional 2 Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron - Steam and Infrared Heat for Straightening, Curling, Dual Voltage Control (White)

Since moving to another state over 2 years ago, my hair was frizzy every day. I had perfectly straight, thick hair prior to that that looked healthy and beautiful. So for the last 2 years, I tried every product out there that claimed to get rid of frizzies; shampoos, conditioners, frizz-removing sprays, mousses, a micro-fiber hair towel, and other products. But NOTHING worked. I didn't even want to leave the house anymore. So I started googling what might be able to help. And the answer I found on several sites was to use a steam straightener. So then I started researching those, trying to find the one with the best reviews and price, and decided to purchase the Dorasilk Professional Infrared Steam Flat Iron. I got the 2" model. I just got it today, so decided to give it a try on my dry, very frizzy hair. I will say that the instruction book that comes with it was somewhat confusing. But luckily I had watched the online video with girls showing exactly how to use it. I used the lowest heat setting, 300-350 degrees, and ran it through all of my hair, which only took 5-10 minutes! (much less than my old curling iron.) I never saw any steam as I was using it, even though I had filled the water reservoir. However, the video said that you may not notice or see any steam. RESULTS: My hair is now perfectly straight! All the frizzies are GONE! And that was after using it 3 or 4 hours ago, and even going outside in our humid weather, assuming my hair would frizz up again. But it didn't! I love my hair again. This product is awesome!

My hair is naturally curly and frizzy at the ends even with a haircut. I asked for this and was so excited to get this for Christmas, I tried it right away. It only took 15 minutes to do my whole head... My hair come out so straight, shiny and smooth, wow. I love this product. You need to take the time to figure the right temperature for your hair like any other heated hair product, my perfect setting is 410 and I turned the steam on high. I have received many compliments about my hair.

This flat iron gets the job done. Steamer steams and does all it’s suppose to do. After some uses, the heat melts the white coating on the flat iron and it comes out on your hair. I have type 4c hair so my iron has to be hot! Still a nice straightener but this constant peeling is nerve wrecking.

My wife says; I loved the product. It gives good amount of vapor unlike other steam straigteners. As my hair thick I need to fill the water tank couple of times. But it is not difficult and it makes my hair softer even after I washed my hair. The result is also good. My hair becomes straight, shiny and silky after applying the product. I use it also because it gives moisturizing to my hair. I definitely recommend it.

Steamer didn't work AT ALL. Even the instructions say to remove the yellow film from the plates before using. There was no yellow film...which tells me someone else already tried this very straightener. It probably didn't work for them either so the Seller just decided to try to get another poor sap to buy it. Guess that was me. Don't waster your time or money on this product. Worthless!

I love the wide plates on this flat iron, it glides through my hair super smoothly and takes half the time to straighten. I find trying to fill the water for the steam function challenging and it doesn’t hold enough to last the entire time I straighten but it works wonders without the steam so I don’t need it anyway.

I’ve been using for several months now. It does a great job of smoothing/straightening my thick frizzy hair. The unit is heavy but you get used to it. The water reservoir can be a bit tricky to clip on. It has a few different heat levels if. you don’t want super high heat. Great value for the price.

Hair-dresser told me about those 400$ steam flat irons and how she couldn't afford one. A little search brought up this item. This was so inexpensive that I bought it just to test it. I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging inside and out. It comes with a little bottle to fill the reservoir, and a glove to protect from the heat. There's several heat settings, and a nice little chime to let you know when it's ready. It works very well, too. I have very thick, curly hair (think Pacific Islander hair) and I've been using flat irons for 30 years. I'd need to pass it in my hair over and over (think 60-90 minutes) just to flatten them, and then the tiniest amount of humidity would destroy all that in a second. Not with this little beauty though! The heat goes high enough and the steam is just enough that it takes less time (~30 mins) to flatten my hair AND THEY STAY FLAT. The small issue I have is just the size of the reservoir. I'd like if it was bigger, because I usually have to refill it before I'm totally done. Otherwise, nothing to say against this unit. Great value for the price.

Le reservoir fait gouter de l'eau bouillante !! Et la quantité d'eau ne suffit pas pour faire 3 meches !!! Ne tiens pas ses promesses cheveux pas souples pas de brillances non plus !!!! Retourné dés la premiere journée
