Mirror polished two-tone finish. Having a collection of MANY Hanayama puzzles, I notice sometimes the "Difficulty Level" is deceiving. Personally I would rate this one a level 4. This does not compare in challenge to other level 6 puzzles, but it still might be worth the buy. I solved this fast but still happy I bought it. It looks very simple, and it kindof is... but it's also TRICKY. If you're new to Hanayama this is a good one. If you've got a collection and conquered other level 6 puzzles, you might solve this fast like i did. Either way it's a very nice one to display after you've solved it. To better test your puzzling skills: "Padlock" is fun and difficult, one of my favorites. "CHAIN" another fave, is tough, simple, but clever.
