The best hand torch I have ever owned. Not the cheapest but cost is outweighed by usefulness. It's like a mini arc light, chunky and robust but not too heavy. Has a magnetic back so is handy in false ceilings where you just attach to ceiling grid and you are hands free. Battery life is excellent for a little package. Seems to last ages. Comes with a USB charge lead which is also handy, it can be charged in your car or off a power pack or normal phone charger. I have charged it off my laptop once. Has been dropped more times than I can remember and apart from a small crack in the front, it's a year old it still runs. This is my 2nd one so I have one for home and one for work.

This was a purchase for work as I'm out in all types of weather, day and night. The first time holding it out of the box, I could tell that this is a quality product. It's weighty, with solid construction, and the brightness is far better than any other torch I've owned. Size-wise it's just right, and the magnet really pulls a punch. Battery life after a full charge is lengthy. All in, a worthwhile purchase.

I am a Gas engineer and I have had this torch for about 3 years and its great. I was so impressed by the quality and brightness I purchase a 2nd one. They are rechargeable by USB so I leave one on charge in the van while using the other. It has a magnet on the back so you can stick it anywhere inside a boiler case. Recently the clip broke on the back which also houses the magnet I reached out to unite on twitter to see if I could get the part number for the clip so I could purchase it. They send me a new clip and magnet out free of charge. Brilliant customer service along with great product.

I use this in the garage working on the car / motorbike and it is a great bit of kit, very bright inspection lamp and the torch end is handy. Some little niggles (not enough to lose it a rating star). It would be handy if the power lead was a standard usb rather than a bespoke lead so I can use any of the hundreds of leads I already own to charge lamp rather than worry that if I lose the one that came with it I will have to throw away the torch. A couple of power settings would be nice as the lamp is very bright and when doing some jobs the glare can be blinding. To turn off the lamp you have to scroll through the torch setting which I keep forgetting and leave it switched on. I have other lamps that have a timer so after using any function for a few seconds a press of the button will turn it off not scroll through the remaining functions.

Extremely bright for size of equipment

I’m a mechanic and needed a light, saw the good reviews of this one, first impressions was it was a little small for price but after using it for a while now, i’m really impressed. There’s a weight to it indicating good quality, light output is very good, the only downside is there isn’t a magnet on the bottom if there was then it would of been a 5 star
