A Fantastic Investment for Any Wine Lover & Collector. Worth the Cost!!!
Amazing piece and something any serious collector or wine enthusiast should add to their luggage wardrobe. Full transparency before I continue. About a decade ago, I had the fortunate luck of meeting the founders at a wine event when they were just getting started and looking for funding. Back then I knew they had a winner. At the time I wanted it but didn't really have the need. That said, now i have the need. They put A LOT of thought into the design. I purchased this for a trip to Spain which I just returned from a few days ago. I wanted to purchase and bring back wines that were more exclusive and not available in the US. The mission was successful. The suitcase was even able to handle odd shaped bottles, as I brought back some Cava and all the bottles held up without issues. The suitcase arrives with foam cutouts 6 & 6 on each side as well as extra pads. The inside also includes straps to secure each side as well as external straps. No issues with TSA, not a scratch on the bag and not a single bottle broke or was damaged. My only suggestion is metal instead of plastic closures for the outside straps. Aside from that - it's a Fantastic Investment - No Regrets

A company that makes a great product and stands behind their warranty!
so this wine suitcase is built really well. While caring12 bottles of wine to France, the airlines really did a number on the suitcase and cracked it terribly. That being said, all the content of the suitcase arrived safely. We used duct tape and taped up the cracked area really well, and transported 12 bottles back from France. We expected some loss, but again, all 12 bottles survived! In addition, I contacted the company and sent them all the required information (photos, proof of payment, etc.) and they sent me a new wine suitcase! These suitcases are built super tough, protect your valuable content AND stand behind their product. Thank you VinGuard Valise! You guys are amazing!

Well made, smart and value for money.
It is a pleasure spending money on something that is well made, does what it is supposed to and looks good doing it. This is my new favorite suitcase that gives me the option of traveling with wine or not. Why wouldn't I travel with wine??? The point is I like it a lot and and feel I got a lot of value for my money. The only thing I would improve is a way to keep the straps more tidy when it's time to open it. I would gladly buy an accessory of some type to keep the straps neat when the suitcase is opened. To be clear, I am that person that does not understand why my favorite designers have not developed a belt that does not have to be removed while clearing security at airports so let's add this to the universe suggestion box and keep waiting.

Solid effort given the constraints
This suitcase is well made and makes a great effort to look ‘normal’ and carry wine. So far nothing had broken but I will say that larger bottles (German longer bottles, sparking) and larger weight specialty bottles move around during transit. I’ve found bottles bumping each other even when tightly packed. All that said, used at least 10 times and nothing damaged!

Best suitcases we’ve ever owned
This is my most favorite luggage; we take it overseas and cross country. It’s sleek and beautiful. Now you can even get personalized name plates. We purchase speciality items when traveling and we have never had a broken bottle (knock on wood)! I pack my clothes in one side and bottles in the other side (or breakable souvenirs). We are on our second set of this brand of luggage. It seems expensive, but for our purposes and travel destinations, it has been the most durable. Plus if you purchase insurance, it will be replaced. Airlines are soooo rough on luggage and this is the best by far, even it you don’t need it for breakable items. It is well worth the money. It rolls easily, even when full. I am an older female (66) and I have no issues in terms of portability or ease of use. I do not have any health issues or disabilities and on a recent trip overseas, I had a pinched nerve in my left shoulder. While I could not lift the suitcase at that time, it was quite easy to roll and I had no problems. We travel frequently and we always use these suitcases, unless it is just an overnight trip.this brand suitcase is the best.

Extravagant but wine not?
So this wine suitcase seems like overkill, but if you’re packing 12 bottles and they’re worth hauling around with you, this is the way to go. We have seen our fully loaded case be dropped off a luggage trolly into the street (ouch) with no damage to the wine. The outer straps tend to get broken off by airlines, but doesn’t seem to matter. Case remains locked & intact.

Great suitcase but breaks easily! Company will not stand behind it!
We got to use this suitcase a total of 2 times before finding a wheel broken off as it came down the baggage claim. As it turns out, the wheels are not reinforced in any way and are merely attached by the thin outer shell of the suitcase. This means when the airlines are rough with the suitcase (which we all know they are) and it happens to land on a single wheel, it's at high risk of snapping right off! Extremely disappointed in the fragility of this suitcase when considering how much it costs! Reinforce the wheels by attaching them to some sort of inner frame and not to the flimsy, fragile outer shell. EDIT: After speaking with customer service, the best they could offer me was $100 off the purchase of a new suitcase. They stated that the airline damaging it isn't covered under warranty. While that is definitely true, the reason it broke so easily was because of the inferior design of the suitcase itself. The wheels only being snapped on to the flimsy outer shell virtually guarantees that if the suitcase lands on a single wheel, it has a high chance of breaking. Poor design IMO. There should be some sort of inner frame that the wheels can be secured to, which would prevent them from breaking like this. Inferior craftsmanship and the company doesn't care! Avoid this product unless you want a useless, broken suitcase after only 2 uses.

Awesome suitcase, stylish and safe. Brilliant!
I’ve used this several times now and it’s fantastic. Well worth the money. Used transatlantic and in European flights. The suitcase is very well made, solid, easy to pick with 12 bottles of wine etc... would give 6 stars if I could!
