My head is around 22.95 almost 23, would I go with a large or medium?

My head measures 22.5 inches around and I wear a size LARGE in the Demon Podium helmet. I'd go for a size Large if I were you.

How is this helmet on hot days?

It's hot for me too. On 70-80F days I take it off every 20min or so. Maybe it's just me, but even on cold days in the fall season, with short hair, I needed to take it off. I'm looking for a new helmet because of this and may keep this as a backup or for DH park.

It has an adjustment ring or something like that, like other helmets??
