variable pot not working - otherwise good product

I read the excellent review given by Mr. Satish Balaji on 28 September 2016 and bought this item with full confidence!My application:My Panasonic cordless phone has AC adapter with 6.5volt DC output rated on it and yet it gives 7.5 volts out. Even at 6.5V the rechargeable batteries get quite hot while charging due to excess voltage and at 7.5V i can't even imagine! Every 6 months or so had to replace costly batteries! The base unit is not defective but i wondering how a company like Panasonic could be so careless in designing the battery charging voltage parameter and letting it damage batteries! I have been bugged by this problem for some time and i modified a Nokia mobile 5.3volt charger to use it and it worked like a charm for 2.5 yrs but then its cord and connector got frayed and i am back to square one!"""Then came this LM2596 buck regulator like a savior!"""I used it with the original panasonic adapter and it tightly regulates the voltage at 5.53 volt! Works like a beauty!It has a LED voltmeter to indicate INPUT or OUTPUT voltage and a display ON/OFF button too! Over all product is good. Acvuracy is checked with connecting USB port of Laptop and shows correct voltage (5 volt).The price is very high.In.local market it will be available around 200-250rs.Rest ok..

Again the service was right there with delivery of a well done, works as it should product. I did not need but do like instructions with my items-no problem with info on the shipping bag and the internet to download data sheet.

Larger and less expensive than the VR available from other sites - works the same and is not as difficult to work with due to the size of the screw down connectors - works great would recommend.

It works nicely. The voltage is very stable. For a bench power supply, the trimpot can be replaced by a panel mount 10K 10-turn pot.This review is showing up on another product.

Well worth the money ! I use is as a variable voltage source for my radios that use4, 6, or 9 volts. I would highly recommend this item.

I use this to monitor the system voltage and provide 3.7 v to my headlight on my bike. This thing is flawless. I ordered another one. Sweet product.
