Cheap, easy fix in many cases
My Kenmore 110.9263100 dyer is 30 (maybe more) years old and suddenly stopped mid cycle. The outside of the dryer was much more hot than usual and it would not power back on. I went on youtube to see if I could find some videos on how to fix and sounded like the most likley issue would be the thermal fuse. However, it's important to know what is causing the fuse to trip. If the exhaust hose is plugged as it was in my case, you need to clear the hose or the fuse will just blow again due to not being able to expel the heat. Other things could be a bad cycling thermostat (which is included in this kit) or a bad heating element. It could be the high limit thermostat as well (included in this kit). I suggest getting a multimeter as it is actually very easy to test all the suspected components that could be the issue. I was able to use my multimeter to rule out the thermostats and the heating element, but the thermal fuse had no continuity. Some may say to just swap out all the parts in this kit but if they're working I would leave them. These are all so easy to get to on this particularly dryer I can swap any of them in under 10 minutes. Now I have spare parts should a thermostat go out. This fuse has been working like a charm, great value and easy fix!

Parts worked great, exact match. Dryer good as new!
My Kenmore Elite dryer model# 110.64962300 stopped getting hot.Upon inspection I noticed that one of, or possibly both the thermal cutoff switches were not functioning properly. This kit had the replacement parts I needed plus a new cycling thermostat and thermal fuse. All parts were an exact match. The parts fit perfectly and the dryer is now functioning like new again! The whole kit was about 15 bucks after tax/shipping which was well below factory parts from the manufacturer. And much cheaper than calling a repair service. So I figured it was worth a shot ordering these first before going with either of those options.I'm very happy with the results and would recommend this kit to others with similar model dryers in need of repair.

Very affordable alternative to OEM parts that work great.
For the price point, you can't beat these Kenmore dryer replacement parts. I have an old Kenmore electric dryer that has just been reliably working for about 30 years now and owes me nothing. However, when it recently stopped heating the air, I wanted to see if I could repair it and keep it going. The Whirlpool/Kenmore OEM parts were easy enough to find but were pricey considering the age of the unit so I looked around until I found these 3rd party versions. The price was certainly right, being a fraction of the OEM parts and they fit just as they were supposed to. These old dryers are about as simple a machine as you could invent so there weren't a lot of screws and wires to deal with. In less than an hour (I took some time to explore and inspect the innards and vacuum out the lint and dust) I had a perfectly working dryer again. Time will tell how resilient these parts are - I'd like to think I'd get another 30 years out of them, but who knows. At any rate, they worked, worked as they should, and were very affordable.

Dryer working perfectly again, heater cycles on/off as it should on all heat settings
Dryer is an old Kenmore model 110.64872401 (model # is inside the door). It has been working perfectly for over a month since I replaced the thermal cut-off, the thermostat, and the thermal fuse.MAKE SURE you unplug the dryer before touching anything inside the machine, most dryers operate at 220-240V and touching the wrong part or cable while energized can hurt or even kill you.In my case, the dryer stopped producing any heat, so I used my $5 harbor freight multimeter on the Ohms setting to confirm that the thermal fuse was open (no continuity), I removed it and performed some percussive maintenance on it :) (a.k.a. violently slammed it on the floor of the garage with the flat metal surface facing down), which sometimes works by resetting the thermal plate inside of the fuse back to its working position, obviously whatever caused the dryer to overheat to the point the fuse was "blown" needs to be fixed or it will happen again soon, thoroughly cleaning the vent and the inside of the dryer worked for me.After that, the dryer sort of worked for a while, but instead of drying my usual laundry loads on a single dry cycle, I had to run 3 or 4 shorter cycles and load fewer items for the clothes be "almost" fully dry.Replacing the thermostat and the thermal cut-off fixed the issue right away, I also replaced the thermal fuse that I had forcibly reset because a new one came with the kit.

Disappointed with the results.
Great kit with the assortment but unfortunately the smaller of the two thermal cutoffs died within 3 weeks I'm hoping that it was just a defect because I've purchased from blue star before and had a good experience with those parts.
