Fantastic Skate for All Levels
THREE-MONTH UPDATE:I've been skating around 5 hours a week since I've purchased these skates and wanted to update my earlier review (docking one star).- I'm still really impressed by the build quality of the boot and frame - I've scuffed up the skates and ended up scraping off a good chunk of the slide protectors while practicing slides (and falling). The boot has totally held up though and the frame is no worse for the wear!- The wheels are a good hardness, but aren't great - there a couple of small chunks (just a few millimeters wide) always missing from various wheels, likely from skating on bad asphalt here. After three months of light skating, they're down to around 72mm - can't complain given the price!- One of the bearings is sounding gravelly. Probably my fault for skating through some water on a bad day, but still disappointing after a few months.- The biggest problem for me is the liner. In particular, there's a place on the RB skates where the boot shell actually comes over the liner (right above the lower buckle).I like to tighten my lower buckle very tight and leave the upper buckle looser. The result is that the boot shell compresses the liner to a pressure point on my inside ankle bone (specifically the front of the left ankle bone, not the tendon). I can reduce the pressure by covering that spot with the tongue of the liner, but it'll eventually come loose unless I really tighten the upper buckle. It might just be me though - I have very skinny legs with protruding ankles, but wide feet. A hard fit for most skates.ABBREVIATED ORIGINAL REVIEW:These are simply a fantastic choice for anyone who wants a proven hard boot skate at a value price. I don't really think there is any real competition at this price point - the next best option seems to be the Seba FRX 80, but that retails for $200 (and a heel brake is separate, which isn't great for beginners). The only potential negative in my mind is that if you happen to fall between sizes, you're kind of out of luck. These are whole sizes only. I was lucky - the boot fits normal to a bit wide (unlike the Twisters / Maxxums) and it simply feels divine. I bought Size 9 (with a foot MP measurement of 267), normally wear Size 9.5 shoes and often forget that these skates are on my feet. In my youth, I used soft boots and am surprised how comfortable these are.Highly recommended.Note that the comparison chart is wrong. These RB Cruisers come with 80mm 85A wheels, which is an improvement from the soft 80mm 80A wheels on last year's model (the RB 80). There is actually one downgrade from the older RB 80 though - the frame looks heavier and the axle no longer directly screws into the frame.

Reliving my childhood days!
I started bringing my kids to the roller skating rink and wanted to join them. I haven’t in-line skated since i was a kid, almost 20 years ago. I did some research and read some reviews, and decided to go with Rb cruiser. I didn’t want to go with cheap entry level skates or spend the money on more advanced skates. The RB cruiser fit right in the middle for performance and my budget. I’m glad i made the right choice. These skates are comfortable, bearing and wheels are perfect for my skill level, and they look great.

Great for beginners
The fit is on the smaller size but not by much. My big toe brushes the front of the boot, but ther'e's no pain while I skate. The pain is coming from the tongue of the bootie. It pushes against my inside ankle bones. Its the only reason the skates did not get a 5 star rating. Might just need to do some alterations to it. I've fallen with them on and the skates held up nice. Just some scratches. The wheels rolls smoothly and not too fast for a newbie-ish like me (Last time I skated was about 20 years ago).

Having fun skating again
Great to get back into the sport after a... Twenty+ year hiatus. Fun is fun.Coming from Bauer H5's, these are great skates. Fast wheels, smooth rolling. Can't wait for warmer weather.

Only bad thing is breaking them in.
These skates make skating over rough terrain easier. The shock absorber pad in the heel of the boot is great for jumping too. Breaking them in really hurts but after that initial period, the skates are really comfortable (I am able to skate for hours in them). If you have any problems with these, I suggest contacting Rollerblade themselves because of their great customer support. I highly recommend these skates but before skating, put them on and move your foot around a few times until the liner breaks in.

Loved by my oldest Son
I got these for my son's birthday and he loves them. Nice quality and he says the glide like butter on the streets of our town. He really loves them but his birthday is in November and we live in a cold climate, so he's bummed he can't use them more now that the weather has changed. He can't wait to get back on them soon. Highly recommend these rollerblades.

The hard outer shell of the rollerblade boot gives better support for maneuvers
We like the more stable supportive outer shell of the skate boot. My son needed the roller blades to skate/dance during a theater production he is in.

Mixed feelings
Apparently amazon doesn't like my detailed review, so here is a less helpful one. Nice skate. Hurt my ankles. Wish they didn't. Ended up returning them.
