This or stanley sw 60 1/2 ? which has better fit and finish?

Stanley 60 1/2 hands down. If you can find an older one they are even better. The newest version (which I own as well) is not one of my favorites. Top of the food chain is my Lie Nielsen.

are the adjustment rough or fine? how out flat is the sole?

The adjustment is fine and the sole needs work. Not a huge amount of work though. Onice tuned up well this plane is easy to use.

Is the replacement blade available in the market? If not is there any compatible blade?

These take a 1 3/8" blade with a 5/8" slot, and have three slots for the adjuster. They are made by Stanley, Hock, Lee Valley, and others.
