Syneticusa MB Retractable Tonneau Cover fit 2004-2026 F-150 5.5ft Truck Bed

I have a "Roll n Lock" on my other F-150 and I put this product better than the R & L. It took me about an hour to install it with the help of my neighbor. The fit and finish on the product is very nice, and I mean it is really nice. I like the dual locks on this unit vs my other single lock using a rod. The cover panels are high quality and not covered with some vinyl type stuff like my other unit. The instructions are a bit lacking but if you have any mechanical skills, it will all make sense when you start. (I would suggest the company make a youtube install video!!) After washing the truck, I had a few drips toward the tail gate, but to me that is super acceptable as I don't think you could ever get it 100% water tight, lets be real. Even my roll n lock leaks. The drains were easy to install and work very good. I was impressed to see a small bag of future replacement (wear) parts and the extra set of keys. For $800.00 don't hesitate to purchase this cover and jump on it before the price goes up to the $1,400.00 competitors prices.Dirk

I attached this retractable tonneau cover to my 2017 F150 and am very happy with it!I had an overland-style rack already mounted, and I really struggled with installing this thing until I decided to completely remove the rack.Once the rack was out and I was dealing with an empty bed, install was a breeze.The tonneau cover itself looks great, retracts easily and has two locks to keep it secure.I also love that it has t-slots so that I can mount racks and other accessories to the rails on the sides of the bed.It's a fantastic value and really works as advertised!

I really like this bed cover! However it does take a little time to put it together. But, hey you are getting it though the trucking companies, delivered to your house. For me, easy understanding instructions to follow. Definitely a two person job in my opinion.

Overall I like the look of the cover on my truck and I was able to install by myself. However, installation was a pain. Instructions are not great - they’re like IKEA instructions. I tried the QR code for videos, but they did not offer much help. I’m upset that towards the end of the install I had received 2 incorrect screws and only 6 of the correct screws. At that point wasn’t worth returning. No extra screws/parts are provided. Also cheap quality on end covers as barely tightened screws and one of them fell apart.

Functionality: The water resistant seals on the cover, are actually surprisingly effective. There have been several heavy downpours over the past couple months, and this cover has not failed me. The only place that water can get in, is the tailgate, but that's because there's a 1/8" gap in between the tailgate and the bedside body panels. Not really anything the cover can do about that. There was no water in the bed before I opened the tailgate to take these pictures. You can also see the rain drops on the tailgate itself, as proof of what the water droplets look like on an otherwise bone dry truck bed.Appearance: It looks surprisingly good on the truck, fits good on my 2022 F-150, and comes in at a price that really can't be beat for a retractable cover.Installation: Took me two days, installing myself with no fancy lifts or dollys, totaling about 5 hours. As another user mentioned, the bolt can snap off the threads on the plastic cover/cap that goes on each of the side rails by the tailgate, so do not over tighten. The instructions were not entirely clear, mainly on the alignment with the tailgate, so just put your tailgate up and get the rear of the tonneau cover probably a quarter inch from the inside of the tailgate. Power tailgate still functions and seals well with this tonneau cover.Value: This is the best value cover on the market. I paid $700 on sale.

This retractable bed cover fits perfectly. It took approximately three hours to complete (no way can get from A to Z in an hour) but it was ultimately simple to do. I didn't even have to ask my girlfriend to help. She'd be the one who the IKEA boss would say "give that one to Magda to do" and let that guy (me) watch. But I was able to put it together with no issue.I think it looks really good too. I'm not a huge fan of top locking caps design (two each side - toward rear window) but I think is worth the cost compromise because the Ford equivalent, installed, is approximately 2k.In the end I am very pleased with this retractable bed cover and glad I decided to go this route (vs Ford accessory).

Purchased in 2019 and has been an excellent product. 7 years no issues other than normal wear and tear from the sun.

I ordered this tonneau cover about five days ago, and it arrived as yesterday, (09-10-25). It took about an hour to install, and went together with absolutely no problems. It may be a little early to give a five star review, but this is based on install, and fit and finish only, NOT DURABILITY/LONGEVITY. I’ll see how it holds up over time, but it looks to be very well made.

The only thing I would suggest is putting a drain hole for the locks. Had to drill mine cause going through a car wash , water would get under the cap for the lock and freeze. After putting a hole in the bottom of it I’ve had no problems
