The best disposable pads I’ve ever used. Genuinely comfortable, absorbent, non itchy and don’t leave fluff like some do.

I’ve tried quite a few period products over the years but I gotta say these FLO organic bamboo sanitary towels really stood out for me. First off, I appreciate the ultra-thin design. It makes a world of difference when you’re trying to go about your day without feeling like you’re wearing a diaper. They’re super soft and don’t irritate my skin like some of the other pads I've used in the past.The fact that they’re biodegradable also hits a sweet spot for me. You get a decent amount of day pads and a few night pads which is a real win. The night pads are longer and really give me peace of mind while I sleep, no leaks overnight which is always an issue for me.I also noticed how absorbent they are. They hold up really well even on my heavier flow days, which is something I value a lot. I know I'm taken care of and can focus on other things rather than constantly checking. The pads are soft, comfortable, and come in great eco-friendly packaging. I didn't experience any irritation, which is often a concern for me with other cruelty free and chemical free brands. They’re also discreet under clothes, so I didn’t notice them at all, and I appreciated that they’re scent-free and didn’t cause any unpleasant odour after wear. However, I did find them a bit too short for my needs, as I tend to bleed towards the front, and the pads didn’t offer quite enough coverage. Additionally, the little tabs meant to secure the pad didn’t stay in place very well, causing some shifting during wear. Despite these minor issues, I think this is a solid product, and I’ll definitely use it again on lighter, less active days.

Great for sensitive people.After using well known brands for years, I wanted to swop to a more natural brand. And FLO delivers just that. No bleach used, and a soft breathable fabric, meaning on the worst of days, you still feel comfortable, knowing that your body isn’t absorbing anything nasty.One of my subscription items, and well worth it!

I gave these a go due to the fact that they were priced so cheaply (unsure if it was due to them being released or not.) I will now be sticking with this particular brand which is not something I expected to happen.I used to always use a very well known brand ~ that could begin with the first letter of the alphabet ~ however due to the issues that many people have, myself included, with the brand being convinced that they should all be scented this is the perfect switch for me.They do look very thin ~ more so than the previously mentioned brand ~ and I automatically assumed that they would be rubbish and that they could not be anywhere near as absorbent. I was completely wrong!I have very heavy periods, yet I went through less of these than I usually do when using the other brand. (These may seem thin but they work magic!) No issues at all with leaking, which is a first for me, and no irritation caused.They are very comfortable to use and certainly do not have that plasticky type thing about them which is a huge plus.The fact that these are natural is most definitely a huge thing and it is brilliant. I will be continuing to buy these and this is from a user of the other brand for over twenty five years!This box is perfect as a starting post as it certainly has the right mix in it. The night pads work amazingly well and no idea how the charcoal actually works but it has stopped the waking up during the night from flooding.I have gone from having to use countless, uncomfortable and irritating night pads during the day, due to heaviness, of being able to rely on just a few of these night pads instead.I honestly cannot recommend these enough and and I would definitely say to give them a try!

Review from the wife:(Life story alert!)I have only just started to bleed again for the first time in years due to coming off the pill for endocrine reasons.It seems pads these days have different sizes. I’ve struggled to find any that sit in place all night and can withstand a heavy flow at night without leaking everywhere else. I have been struggling to find ones without scents. Even the pantyliners these days have ‘odour control’ additions which I cannot handle, my skin is so sensitive.My latest period, I was in so much discomfort as I was also battling hives all over the body. I used a shop brand pad which had ‘no perfume’ but had ‘odour control’ and I instantly regretted. My skin is sensitive at the best of times down there but when your body is battling an allergic reaction, the skin is so sensitive, I broke out into lumpy rashes down there. Went on amazon prime whilst crying in the bath tub and got these delivered within 14 hours I think it was.They are so soft to touch, they mould nicely to your undies and the wings actually held despite me being such a fidget monster in my sleep, constantly tossing and turning. They survived a very heavy flow two nights in a row and my underpants were in tact! On other pads I have a problem with the wings becoming unstuck and they fold back over in the night so the sides of my pants and my legs normally are smeared when I wake up and it gets onto my pj bottoms. Sometimes I have to change every 4 hours at night even in other brands ultra absorbing night time pads.They arnt noisy when you walk around. Some pads sound like I have a diaper on when I walk, but these are discreet in appearance and sound.Hope my review is not too grotesque, a lot of women are not lucky enough to have a simple period and not everyone is blessed to have normal skin. I hope this review helps someone, I wish I had known about this brand sooner, I will not be buying pads in supermarkets from now on. I’ve actually saved money with these as I only needed the one box for they have 5 night pads and 10 day pads ( which I add do actually hold a lot, gone are the days of me having. To wear night time pads in the day!)

Super comfortable, not smelly or itchy, and there are two different sizes in the pack which is very very handy! Could do with having some mre in there but its not like it cantains less than the usual box so all is good. I would reccomend stocking up on these rather than buying just one box :)

I’ve been testing a number of options in the no-plastic category and so far this has been the top contender. I really wish you could order a sample pack of many brands for that purpose, but instead had to order a stack 🙄.A very solid option for light days (or medium ones, when you’re in a situation where you can switch out at times during the day), mild incontinence, or daily use for spotting.The sticker-glue doesn’t glom as firmly onto cotton as some of the usual supermarket brands, or extend edge-to-edge, but so far pads have remained in place, even on active days of packing for a move and during a 10-mile bike ride. I noticed some reviews complained about secure positioning, so I was concerned but so far it hasn’t been an issue for me.I wish they were a half-inch or more longer, for even more peace of mind, but length is typical of conventional daily pads and is adequate, especially if you can switch out for a new one when things get heavy.The texture is pretty smooth; I’ve found other eco options to have a top layer that’s a little coarser and more like very inexpensive generic store brands. This is a step or two above that. I’m not especially sensitive to texture, though, so if you need the satin-smooth top layers of conventional pads, this might not be slick enough for you, even though it’s been the softest of the non-plastic pack.I like that the pads are not individually wrapped; even with bio-plastic, that’s an extra footprint I don’t personally require; I just fold and tuck extras into a pocket or purse. I much prefer to shop locally but had no luck finding this unwrapped option in stores, so had to cave and order here.They’re not as substantial in terms of absorbing or as long yet super-thin as the Always extra longs that were my longtime go-to, but they’re a close match in terms of inconspicuous slim profile and have done the trick.I still use the Always when I won’t be near a bathroom for ages, but this is now my pick for most use-cases.I’m just really glad to have found an option that works for me and that doesn’t make me feel crappy, like I’m a contributor to never-decaying landfills.
