Perfect and mind broadening for children
I love the Just Grace series of books. My 8 year old daughter loves them as well. As I read the book to her, she reads all the cartoon captions, and giggles often. This book came with perfect timing. My husband and I strive to raise open-minded and culturally experienced children, however we live in an area which my older daughter described as a cultural vacuum. Therefore, as with my older children, when I packed my 8 year old's "strange" lunches- including dolmades, tortillas, bagels, etc, children at my daughter's school began to make fun of her. This Just Grace book deals with the exact topic of children making fun of others for eating odd or different foods. This book would be perfect for teachers or parents who want to raise cultural awareness and tolerance, as well as educate children about the myriad of foods available to them, beside haburgers and fries, and this book is perfect for kids who are exposed to a broader world but are made fun of for it.

Great series for young girls to read
I am giving this series as a gift to my great niece and my great step-niece. I read the books before gifting them and thoroughly enjoyed the stories as told by "Just Grace". Without giving away any important plots, let's just say that it's nice to read about a little girl who is faced with problems that at first seem overwhelming to her but through her creativity, friends and thinking things through carefully solves her problems at the end of the book. Girls need female roles such as Just Grace especially when they are young to help them develop into self assured young women who can solve their own problems just like Grace.

They are neighbors & they are always together.I read the first 2 books & I love them. She expresses funny emotions. Terrific addition to the series!
Another great book in the "Just Grace" series. Witty, silly, and well-told stories that capture child's imagination. Fun to read aloud but also interesting enough for child to want to read on her own. (Plus a cool craft in this one!)
