Customer Service AWOL, not as described
I have had to get a part for this toilet before - EcoFlush customer service was very helpful although it took them two times to get the right part number. Now theyt don't return calls at all. I ordered this part because the hose sprung a leak. Part arrived but no hose as clearly stated in title. And I paid for expedited shipping. Great toilet but it has broken three times in 8 or 9 years and now customer service is weak.

Common Failure Mode Of This Part
EcoFlush is an easy company with which to deal - IF you have the correct part number and remember that their model number corresponds to a date of manufacture that will NOT account for the time of a toilet sitting on a supplier's shelf. In our case, and we have two Gerber toilets with EcoFlush components within, we still have not in January 2018 exceeded the time in use in a 9.5 YO home even though we have a 2009 date-of-manufacture Model Number. Having a Proof of Purchase receipt is helpful. The common problem of internal piping leakage (that will spray water within the tank that impinges on the underside of the toilet tank, which water then drips onto the bathroom floor) has to do with a poorly manufactured plastic tube-to-metal collar SEAL that is the TUBE part of Item B8100-02A, NOT the rubber O-Rings that are a part of the tube-assembly ends, and NOT the rest of the assembly that is pictured here to the left of the blue tube - at least in my case.Getting that tube and its right-end particle-strainer removed is easy; getting the new tube back in place with the strainer in place requires the Patience of Job - and three hands. The strainer should be inserted into the plastic nut of the right end of the plastic tube BEFORE attempting to screw the nut onto the male-threaded pipe that is a part of ANOTHER toilet-flush component.Best functioning toilet we have ever had!
