The charcoal plush fabric gives it a premium, elegant appearance that elevates the room. The headboard is well-padded and comfortable for sitting up. However, the base under the mattress is made of thin boards and after a few weeks, I noticed slight bending in the middle. It’s not affecting sleep yet, but may not hold up well over time, especially with a heavy mattress. Also, it doesn't have any drawers which is quite disappointing.
