This is perfect for our dog.. and this is the 2nd one we have bought so that we have one in each car. You can zip down one side if they choose to move on to the seat if they feel too enclosed as the additional leads connected to the seatbelt buckle and also in the basket make it safe for them to move in and out. You can also zip down the other sides too, but it has a restraint which wraps around the seat to lock the dog seat in to the car which is very secure. We have put in a dog bed for extra padding and they love it. It gives me so much comfort in knowing they are secure and safe and they don't feel the need to wander either. Can't recommend it enough. Perfect safety seat for our fur babies.

I purchased this for the seat element not the safety harness side of it. Overall I'm pleased with the product, appears to be well made and easy to use. Very versatile as you can have it as an enclosed box type seat or open sides etc. I think the sides could do with being a bit more rigid to keep the shape better, when the dog sits and leans against the side it pushes out around the shape of the dog. The harness attachment is too long even on the smallest setting to safety use on my terrier size dog and in the event of an accident he would definitely be thrown out of the seat so I have cut this off and sealed the end to prevent fraying. As previously stated it was bought for the seat element so this doesn't really bother me as I already have/use a different type of harness attached to the dog. I've put a thin cushion and dog blanket inside for a bit more cozy feel and my dog is comfy in it and settles down straight away, he can sit, lie or curl up comfortably without any issues and there is still plenty of room for him to move about even with these added. Overall I would recommend if you're looking for a good quality seat to keep the car clean and the dog comfy and secure (using different harness). Great product and hope Muttstuff & Co continue to develop great products at reasonable prices.

This item is excellent for the price. Sturdy enough for my dog who is 9.4kg and long in length. I put a cushion or towel in the bottom for him and he loves it. It comes with a leash to keep them safe, has a handle that slots into the back crease of the chair to keep it sturdy, and a strap that fastens round the back of the front seat for further security. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because one of the back zips has broken. But I have had it for 2 years and it has had a lot of use. I would highly recommend.

Highly recommend. This is brilliant. I took my 5 month old cockapoo on an hour and a half journey and she was comfortable, happy and safe. I put her bed inside it and she slept like a log. It’s so easy to put into the car. Definitely worth buying . Photo doesn’t really show the product but does show how settled she was in it. And the clip to connect that connects to her harness connects straight into the seatbelt buckle/clasp thing so no messing about with threading the seatbelt through it. Excellent all round

Sturdy quality! Well made and easy installation with the video to guide you. As a first time dog owner I wanted him to feel safe on his way to his forever home, so car journeys will hopefully not be a problem, going forward, the seat is big enough for a medium sized dog, so my puppy will grow into this. I loved the back story that came with product, which was a nice touch. I would highly recommend this car seat as a good value buy.

I have always traveled with dogs in dog crates in the car, but having had occasion to have to stop suddenly whilst driving recently we were horrified when the crate tipped up with our puppy inside even though it was attached to four safety points in the car. After doing some research we decided to go for a crash tested car seat harness but as our Papillon puppy likes to feel supported and lay with her back against a side we thought this car seat would do suit her. The car seat it's self is great. Exactly what we expected. It was very easy to put in place in the car and had enough room so that we could put an extra bed inside. She does stay in the seat while we are driving but if you have a dog that wont 'stay' when told this might not be the seat for you. She settled down and was very happy as you can see from the photo. However, the free seat belt clip, that is shown in the photo, broke the first time we used it. The spring in the 'G clamp' broke which meant that it did not stay attached to her harness and kept falling off. This did not bother us as we planned to upgrade to a crash tested car harness any way. Delivery was also a issue, ASM delivery have been very unreliable. This is our fourth delivery from ASM that we have had problems with. Having said all that, the car seat is just what we wanted and with a upgraded car harness that plugs in to the seat belt plug she is much safer than in a dog crate and very happy.

So I was gifted this from the lovely Mutt Stuff Co via Instagram to review as I currently run my dog’s account (@tobytheromanianrescue). He’s only 6 months old and ever since we picked him up he’s HATED travelling in the car. He’s travel sick which doesn’t help much but I think he sometimes gets so nervous it makes him nauseous. Since having this it’s made travelling so much easier. He stays put, doesn’t try to climb onto the drive/passengers, and he’s always really comfortable. The fact he isn’t moving around a lot and is in one place also has reduced his travel sickness quite substantially. The product itself is beautiful quality with a really lovely and ingenious concept behind it. I love the personal experience element of the design of the product and the background behind it too. I would absolutely recommend to anyone with any age/size dog to get one as it makes travelling a delight and has made things so much easier for us. We can actually take Toby on day trips (which he loves!) safely. I haven’t been able to get a photo as of yet because we have to pad it with puppy pads due to the travel sickness so I will update my review with some pictures on how well it fits in my car both in the back and the front as and when I get some proper ones. The good thing is the product is also versatile and can be used in any car. I have even used the product to carry Toby into the vets on a few occasions as it’s so much easier and keeps him in one place. Excellent value for money, very speedy delivery, great communication with the seller and overall a brilliant concept. I would definitely 100% recommend and this is a very honest and unbiased review as I’m a firm believer of promoting small businesses who do genuinely sell outstanding products like this that make life easier.

This was easy to assemble and fit in the car and the design means it is adaptable . The seat fits the front seat perfectly and the two straps mean that it is very secure. The zips mean it is easy to adapt as a cover as my dog grows. There is a built in belt meaning the dog is secure. All in all it was a good purchase and value for money. The note from the seller was a lovely touch and they clearly take pride in their business.

Very happy with this seat cover- I have never seen one that zips up into a cozy place for my little dog. Unzip it and it’s a regular seat cover! Well made and fits my 2016 Prius V perfectly. LOVE it!
