How much can this bag hold up?

Hi Dear! The skate bag can hold up the whole set of your equipment, including elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards and helmet. Of course your skates as well! And there is plenty of separated spare room for other stuff like socks, blade guards, water bottle and personal items! Hope this message will help!

Does the skate bag have some sort of plastic liner inside to make the bottom strong enough to hold the skates?

Yes, there are nylon coated plastic reinforcements in the big pockets but they are not very sturdy. I use this bag for quad skates and they provide very little support.

does this have a long strap too? and does it fit adult size rollerblades?

The picture doesn't show it clearly, but there are two mesh sided compartments (one on each side) that each holds one skate. In addition there is a large interior section that can hold other stuff. Strap is like a purse or a book bag. Strap cannot be replaced (it is sown in). It would fit adult size rollerblades.
