Extremely sharp views - Great for Solar system and bright DSOs *by U***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 24, 2020* I always thought nothing could beat a good refractor in image sharpness, until I received the Meade LX65 5". I put the OTA on a solid camera mount and no problem at all. The dovetail hold extremely well. Coatings really work wonders and I could see the results immediately. Stars were sharp, precise points. No collimation needed. Half an hour in, I was getting amazing images of moon and Mars without stacking. The longer focal length gives amazing solar system views, especially for me who lives in a light polluted city center and can mostly focus on bright planets and brighter DSOs. Meade seems to have spent a lot of effort making the focusing knob very precise. No image shift, no loose movement. It just moves like a clockwork. The body is solid and grainy, making it tough but still easy to handle. I could not point out a fault if I tried my best. Just that it comes with only one 26mm eyepiece. Would be great if Meade also throws in another 8 - 10 mm eyepiece too. Sur le site les photos montrent le télescope avec un trépied et la tête électronique de recherche ainsi que la télécommande. Or ce qui est vendu, c'est le télescope seulement, sans trépied ni rien d'autres. Un télescope sans trépied devient inutile. Une petite mention "OTA ONLY" indique que seul le télescope est vendu. Évidemment, si vous êtes un débutant, vous ignorez la signification de OTA,Optical Tube Assembly. J'ai compris l'arnaque après avoir reçu le télescope et vérifier l'annonce sur Amazon. J'ai aussi remarqué que c'est la même arnaque pour la plupart des télescopes vendus sur Amazon.
