ION Clipster Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Built-In Clip (Purple)

I clip this 'clipster' on my bike, purse, backpack, and belt loop; everywhere I go. I adore this mini speaker!! When I saw you had other colour options than red, blue, and black I was definitely sold! Orange is my favourite colour! The only problem I have with the clipster is that I can't skip a song, or go back, on the speaker itself. I have to pull out my iPod to change the song (1st world problem).I absolutely have no other complaints! I've had many compliments on it and I got this speaker for the sole purpose of not having to wear headphones while I bike. It's better, in my opinion, to have my music playing aloud so I can here the cars coming than to wear outer-noise canceling headphones and get hit by a car (and that's happened).I've had this speaker play continuously for about 4 hours straight, or so, and it never died. The battery life is great. When I finally did have to charge it I just left it for an hour, came back, et voíla.I had it playing in the rain and it wasn't effected. Now, that's not to say its waterproof, because I put it away as soon as I could stop biking, but it worked none the less.The size is absolutely perfect for throwing into my purse too if I'm in a hurry and can't clip it on.Overall, great colour, sounds great, long battery life, [a little] water resistant, and perfect size!

This little speaker is exactly the product I have been searching for. After going through similar cheap portable speakers that all disappointed, I decided to try out the Clipster and I am so glad I did. I work outside in construction doing Site Surveying work. I spend a lot of time outside, by myself, in remote and wooded locations. I needed something to play my music that was louder than my phones speaker, that was relatively cheap, but somewhat tough and with decent sound. This item fulfilled all of that. It is very sturdy and well made, and the sound is actually pretty good. Bluetooth pairing is instant and problem-free.Don't go into this expecting a Bose quality sound system. This is a small, single speaker. Realize what this is and how cheap it is and the sound quality will actually impress you. I never imagined getting such good sound from a $15 bluetooth speaker, this thing delivers (even in an outdoor setting). It doesn't have a weak 'tinny' sound that is usually associated with similar small speakers.If you are on the fence thinking this will produce weak sound and feel cheap, go ahead and push that thought out of your head and get this. I imagine most people who are active and need music on the go would really get their moneys worth out of the Clipster. Ion has delivered a fantastic value for the money.

This is not a great sounding speaker, but considering the $16 price, light weight, good battery life, and portable design, this is a good value for the intended use (background music for 1 or 2 people on the go). Sound quality is better than the speaker on my smartphone, but clearly worse than $30 portable Bluetooth speakers (like the Oontz Curve), which offer more volume, more bass, and cleaner sound. Unlike most portable Bluetooth speakers, this one does not have a microphone, so you cannot pair it with your smartphone for use as a speakerphone. Maximum volume is fairly low, but that does help with battery life and also reduces the chance of distortion at higher volumes. Most good sounding Bluetooth speakers cost $30 and up, so temper your expectations for this cheap product and you'll probably be happy.

I used this little thing for over six months every day at work until it would die (lasted about 2 hours continuously). Sadly, it now only lasts about 25 minutes on a full charge, and the buttons are all faded.Despite the longevity of the device's life, for 30 bucks or less you really can't beat the convenience of the clip, as well as how loud the device actually gets. I'm able to hear the music or podcasts I listen to very clearly in a warehouse environment.They do need to make another version of this however, with stereo speakers (not one mono speaker), and it needs to have a SKIP TRACK button. I'm constantly having to reach for my phone to change the song.Pros: Loudness of the speaker, convenient clip, easily accessible buttonsCons: Lifetime of device, no skip track button!I gave 4 stars because the idea of the device and how convenient it is has outweighed some of the bad in it, and I'll probably buy a second one since the other speakers out there aren't as easily "clippable". :)

I purchased this speaker to run with. I like to have music once in a while, but didn't want to have to deal with earphones stuck in my ear or block out the sounds (or dogs). I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I have a tendency to lose small devices like this in a heartbeat. I also didn't have to worry about high expectations. This portable speaker fit the bill. It cost me about as much as a trip to the movie theatre (less if you include consignment snacks ;) ).After receiving it, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. It connected very easily to my iPod 4 via the ipod's bluetooth settings. It's a little scratch when you first turn it on, but then the sound seems to correct. The speakers have very nice sound (even a little bass), and the volume can crank way up. Because the clip is built into the speaker, It will not flop around as much as a speaker on clip with chain—which makes it perfect for running. The battery duration appears to be true. It would have been nice if it had fast-forward and rewind (which I didn't notice until I received it), but for the low price and great function I cannot complain.Hoping to add updates as use it for a few more runs.

Connects to Bluetooth really easy and you can clip it to anywhere.. was listening to music in the bathroom while my phone was safely in the bedroom. Love it

This item has been very usefull to me having an outside job.I had no problem at all pairing this device to my mobile.The only reason i have not given this 5 stars is the sound quality which is very good when inside but when outside it does seem to loose some of its power,meaning it is not so loud and both the device and my mobile are on maximum volume.

Excellent speaker, and no lag like many others have

So, my wife and I are retired and love to walk our dog together in a large nearby park. She likes to play music on her smartphone while we walk instead of wearing bear bells. Her phone sound volume wasn't very high, so I often could not hear the music very well. So I got her the Clipster for Christmas and we just got home from a try-out walk and it was great! The speaker is about the size of a small, ear-covering headphone. It is light, for the size of it and the sound quality is quite good for what it is.

Ich will nicht übertreiben,aber ich war selten so positiv überrascht von einem Artikel wo ich erst dachte"naja mal gucken ob der sound erträglich ist".Das Teil hat einen für seine Größe superkrassen Sound und dazu kommt noch eine hervorragende Acculeistung.Das dass Gerät noch als großen Krarbinerhaken gestylt ist ist auch echt klasse.man kann es an allen möglichen orten anbringen.einfach genial.Ich habe das gerät selber gekauft und nicht zum testen zur Verfügung bekommen.
