I wear a size medium generally pre-pregnancy and during pregnancy wear a medium in Gap/Old Navy maternity sizes. I received this around 30 weeks pregnancy and it fit well although tight on the bum (if the skirt wasn't part of the garment this would be incredibly unflattering).Pros: fairly true to size, holding up well and seems of good qualityCons: belly band is way too short and only covers mid-belly at 35 weeks pregnancy, skirt is very short so doesn't offer a lot of modestyAlso, this is not a "skort" which implies a skirt over shorts. I love that it has a tall belly band for the times the top I got decides to fly up in the pool. Also when I bend over at all they stay up and on! I usually wear a 8/10 pre-pregnancy. I'm 6months along and I ordered both the large and XL in these bottoms. I ended up keeping the XL because they were just that much more comfortable and had more room in the baby area to grow and still wear it for the next few months. PLUS the coverage in the back is great. I do not like looking like I'm wearing underwear at a public pool so I always wear skirted bottoms and this bottom covers up just enough butt and thigh area to make me feel more comfortable walking around so no one can look at me.
