I have an autistic almost five year old
The reason why that’s relevant is she doesn’t have any self care. I mean ZERO. So there’s no blowing her nose included in that. Cleaning her nose with a bulb syringe just doesn’t work, and the snot sucker you can forget that. Try holding a 40 pound kiddo that hulks out when you do anything she doesn’t want to and only have two hands to try either of those. This completely cuts that need for a third or fourth hand. When I say hulks out people always underestimate her but last ER visit as we tried to get an EKG it took four medical professionals and dad and I that’s six and she still bucked us off. She gets legit hulk strong. It’s quick and easy to use while restraining your kiddo. She hates it and screams while it’s used but is always happy when I let her go. She gets some big crusty boogers high in her nasal canal that I couldn’t get with other nose things before. My 1 1/2 year old son hates it but it works. I tried it on myself to make sure it wasn’t too much and it’s not. When it stops sucking as hard you need to change the batteries. You know by the sound of the motor and the amount of air coming out the side hole. You’ll learn by using what normal sound it sounds. I suggest rechargeable batteries. I use it often though so I’m not sure how often I change them. At least once a week. But this is an autism home and we live off double As here. A lot of autism parents can attest to quite a large collection of rechargeable batteries always on hand. Best investment ever the batteries that is. Amazon basics have some inexpensive ones we must always have a surplus of. I’d advise to always use saline first as if your nose is dry it can make dry passages bleed lightly. That’s super rare though and only happened once as I use saline before each time. I do feel that the part that has the exit air hole in the side can smell horrible after time, and the top rubber part can get discolored. But all in all this product is legit. This autism mom approved.

Snot sucker for Covid congestion
I used a cheaper version with lights and sounds for my first kid but the vacuum got clogged with snot so I had to throw that one away. This one has a better design. The suction may not be the strongest but it fits comfortably in the baby’s nares and does it’s job. My 1 year old had a ton of congestion with Covid 19 recently and this was a life saver for him. Pros: soft design for nares Easy to clean Cons: Large device to hold One could argue a bulb suction gets better suction Low suction capabilities Overall, I would buy this as a gift to any new parent and I have 2 kids myself.

Bye bye bulb sucker. Hello happiness.
Love this thing. I bought it for my infant daughter because the bulb syringe wasn’t cutting it and there was no way on this green Earth I was going to use a straw type one to suck the snot out of my kid’s nose. Does she hate this thing? Yes. But does it work? Oh yeah. And it’s not too strong on the suction. I tested it on my hand and it didn’t even leave a mark or indentation. I then tested it on my very opinionated toddler and even he said “that isn’t so bad.” It’s easy to clean even though I gag every time I have to. Also, while my daughter hates it it is definitely faster and more effective. I’d rather have her nose cleared faster using this device than taking forever to use a bulb sucker while trying to pin down a wiggly unhappy baby.

Not bad
This little isn’t bad. I would recommend a better one if you can swing it. The boogers come out the little air hole and makes your life just a little more annoying. Suction isn’t super strong and I find myself having to keep it in there longer than my son prefers. Long enough that I have to put him in a crossface chicken wing in order to get nose treasures.

Physically painful to use
I'd give it zero if I could. I used this on my baby and it made her hysterically cry- red faced, could barely catch her breath screaming. I tried it on myself and even on level 1, this thing feels like I was having my adult brain sucked out and my nostril was pulled inside out- it literally took my breath away and physically hurt ME at a 7/10 pain level, so I know it must have been even worse for her. Immediately trashed and got a Frida.

Not worth all the hype
Every time I would use it seemed to sensitive for my baby to Toddler transition. I waited a while to make a review to see if my thoughts would change but the more I used it the Less intrigued I was. I kind of needs more suction power for thicker mucus. I think this worked better for watery clear mucus but when it came to the sick days and green mucus it couldn’t handle the job. I used saline to loosen the mucus and make it more watery but it’s also not okay to use too much saline for baby to make the product work. I just taught my baby early to blow his nose and use some saline to help with the thicker sticky mucus because it did better than the tool I thought would make it easier

Should have gotten this much earlier
With a baby cold the most import a thing was to clear his nose. I was using a manual pump all the time. Since I got this it’s much easier. I wish the suction was a bit stronger to really pull out everything but as this is for babies I understand the power it had is limited. But indeed recommended

NEW BORN MUST HAVE!!!
I love this one, we bought few since our son was having flu when he was just a month old and it was so hard for us to clean his nose but this one did magic. It super easy to use and simple to clean as well. Our son didn't like it but after we cleaned his tinny nose he felt good. I highly recommend it for small babies. I am sure I'll be able to use this till he turn 2 so good investment!

Almost no suction
I've got one of the manual hand pump versions of this. The manual one is a fraction of the price and works way better. This product has no suction. dont waste your money
