Qusti contenitori della Lock & Lock si sono dimostrati ancora una volta probabilmente i migliori nel loro genere di prodotto grazie alla concezione della tenuta stagna con guarnizione di alta qualità. Ottima la forma del contenitore nonchè la facilità sia di chiusura che di apertura e quindi di conseguenza la sua tenuta. Grazie al loro sistema a tenuta stagna, questi contenitori sono davvero idonei per mille e più usi in cucina consentendo così di non sprecare né cibo né spazio, risparmiando denaro prezioso. Lavabili in lavastoviglie ed utilizzabili in freezer e forno a microonde, questi contenitori preservano il cibo sigillandone la freschezza e permettendo di conservarlo più a lungo. Il loro design è studiato appositamente per far in modo che i contenitori si possano facilmente sovrapporre e riporre comodamente in dispensa, in frigorifero e in freezer, risparmiando così spazio utile dando quel rilassante senso dell'ordine da spot televisivi, per intenderci.Consigliatissimi!

I love the Lock&Lock brand. I've been using them for quite a long time. My oldest pieces are more than 10 years old and are still going strong. I use them constantly. I know some folks hate leftovers, but I don't. If I bought it or made it in the first place, it was because I like eating it, and if I liked it today, I'll like it tomorrow too! The Lock&Locks keep everything I put into them fresh and ready to be rewarmed.I don't buy sets. Instead, I prefer to just buy the particular pieces that I need (preferably on sale--this one was 9 bucks). I can usually find a space-efficient way to store them by putting the smaller ones into the larger ones. I didn't have a Lock&Lock of this size, but I thought the size would be perfect for storing half a London broil or a couple of chicken pieces. The 54 ounce, 1.7 qt size (HPL824) is perfect.It has the familiar 4 flaps, one on each quadrant of the lid, that engage the equally familiar tabs on each quadrant of the body of the piece. The seal is tight, waterproof and secure. The dimensions in the Product Details are correct. Keep in mind that they refer to the lidded container and not just its body, which will be slightly smaller.The Lock&Locks are microwave reheatable, but I never do that. Depending on what I'm reheating, if it has tomatoes or oil, it can stain or mar the container. I transfer to the dish I'm going to serve in, and reheat that way. I do wash them in the dishwasher (top rack) and my oldest pieces are still perfectly functional.I think it would be wise to heed the warning from the manufacturer that appears in the Product Details, "ONLY LOCK & LOCK PRODUCTS "SOLD BY" AMAZON.COM ARE GUARANTEED GENUINE." If it doesn't say "Sold by Amazon.com" under the price, look over on the right side of the Product page and you can generally find one that is. It will cost a bit more, but you won't get a counterfeit knock-off.I am a retired engineer, and I think it may be that the simple, effective and direct way that the Lock&Locks solve the food storage problem appeals to my "tech-y" personality. The way that they preserve the freshness of whatever I put in them appeals to my palate, that's certain!
