Was a Great Support For Me
This really helped me after the surgery I had earlier this year. My doctor let me know that I probably would need the support. However, I did, when getting in and out of bed. This brace helped while my body was healing. I know some women may not need the support, but it was needed for me. If you're looking for support, this is a great option. I am obviously not a doctor, but it provided the comfort that was needed when getting up and walking. The Velcro was very secure. It was easy to wash, too.

Good binder!
After using the abdominal binder given to me by the hospital after surgery I needed a new one that would give me the support that I need. This binder is comfortable, not too thick nor bulky. The velcro holds well.

Sized up
I got this for post-op gallbladder surgery (laparoscopic cholecystectomy), I’ve lost a lot of weight due to nausea/vomiting/accidental anorexia/malnutrition (over 18 months). I went from 220lbs to 155lbs needing my gallbladder out the entire time. I used to wear an 18, I’m closer to a 10-12 now. Waist is about 38”. I sized up on this & got the LG/XL. The smaller one will be returned. It didn’t have the proper stretch to give a lighter compression & I almost passed out wearing the smaller one. Make sure there is enough room to breathe! I also like the larger one because you can kind of create a little pocket to throw and ice pack in between the crossover & it’ll stay with enough protection from the cold to prevent freezing your skin.I would say this is good for an upper or lower abdominal surgery. It’s actually pretty close to what my hospital uses for abdominal binders. I think ours are a little longer. If you have a longer torso, you might want to do some extra measuring, I’m short and don’t, but I don’t think I would use this for any low low abdominal surgery, like hysterectomy or anything too fart below the belly button, it can kind of bow out at the top if you have it down too low if you’ve got a bit of belly at the bottom & not much up top (post partum—I would measure extra so it covers the torso properly!)Other than that, I really like it. If you have like dizziness/BP issues there are studies that show abdominal binders can decrease these issues and provide deeper breathing, which is great if you were intubated!I might suggest more of a waist trainer that covers your entire torso vs this for postpartum. They have like 3-4 piece sets that hold different areas a little bit better, and you’ll need it longer term, so get something a little sturdier than this. The Velcro is strong. But it causes damage to the fabric. Wash using instructions to prevent damage.

Quality abdominal binder - Buy this one
I purchased this to use as an abdominal binder for an umbilical hernia which will require surgical repair in the near future. I absolutely love the way this fits, and it works well for my purpose. While it's not marketed for umbilical hernia support, I have found it works quite well for me for this use case, and that it's superior other hernia belts found online. The design is simple yet solid and well executed, so I have no complaints. The stitching is solid, and the Velcro fastener creates a secure fit that does not loosen throughout the day. The material breathes so that sweating is not an issue, and the belt height is perfect to cover most of the abdomen.I would recommend this without hesitation.

Good for short term use only
It frayed really bad after a week of use. The bottom and top lost is elasticity and was warping at 2 weeks. Luckily I only needed it for 3 weeks of recovery because it was beyond worn out at 3 weeks to the point I had to throw it away. It did serve its purpose for 3 weeks but that was it. Didn't even last a month. Luckily I'm recovered to the point I don't need it anymore but if someone needed this for long term use. Buy something else. If you need it for only a couple weeks then it works.

Made in USA, comfortable movable support
I've had a laproscopic (endometriosis removal) before and the hospital gave me a binder that was pretty firm and not comfortable. My second laproscopic (gallbladder removal) hospital did not give me an abdominal binder. I was not comfortable and super swollen and had to carry my belly around post op for 3 days I had enough ordered this and it was PERFECT. I'm 5,4 avg length leg with short torso and this fits under my boobs and above my hips well. I was 176/size 14 pre surgery and carry my mama skin pouch. The size L/XL (similar to what I order in clothes bc I like loose fit) is the size binder that fit me well. I have it double up over my stomach and I pull the Velcro with my dominant side (right) and pull that snug to feel supported (but not too tight that I can expand my lungs or not breath). Yes the Velcro does pull the fabric on the binder but as long as it sticks I don't care and I'm wearing this under clothing so as long as I'm supported and comfortable it doesn't matter how it looks. This by far is the most comfortable, but yet supportive binder out there. I'm able to move and sit without it rolling or pinching me. I'd say definitely go for this and it's made in the USA and natural rubber so you can trust this product. 👍🏻

Soft against skin and easy to use
I used this after my hysterectomy. It is soft against my belly and was easy to use. It held me up with the support that I needed in order to walk.

Velcro Inadequate
velcro closure inadequate. the velcro frayed when I tried it on. Its a small strip of velcro. if you want a modest amount of compression it won't work for you. Also can't secure the loose end of the wrap - you have to secure with a clip or tape. Inconvenient but the velcro problem makes this a no-go. I'm average height and weight.
