Got this for my old Ridgid Shop Vac. I really find this very useful. It fits the hose perfectly. It is better in a lot of circumstances than the crevice tool. I'm very glad I got it. I can definitely recommend it.

Good replacement for a lost attachment
I used this on a Ridgid vacuum that I have, and it looks almost the same as the one I used to have (and lost). The only difference is that the hole extends a bit on the bottom of the attachment, making it a bit harder to get a good concentrated vacuum on some spots.

VERY useful accessory for Shop-Vac; Buy It
I call this my "Claw-Back" Shop-Vac accessory. It is way more useful than I imagined it would be--one of the most-used accessories of all for my 2 1/2" Shop-Vac system. It would be good for cleaning car rugs and nooks and crannies, but for me it is for indoor carpet, rug, and wall nooks and crannies. If you are a frequently down-on-your-knees thorough-type cleaner, you'll use it A LOT. Most vacuuming pulls things toward you and then pushes them away. That might be the way you use your crevice tool, for instance. This claw is for pulling things only toward you, and it really is a claw. It is ideal for "understanding what you want to do" and it is a joy to work with. If you like, of course, it's fine as a tool for upstanding vacuuming as well, but I mentioned kneeling, because this claw does down-and-dirty work beautifully. It is excellent as a cousin for your crevice tool, and highly recommended as one of the most useful tools you'll have.
