I have type 4 high porosity, dry hair. I feel it works really good and because its thick it last really long. It has a strong smell buts it is not bad. It does create for defining my curls and leaving my hair hydrated.

The texture is rich but easy to distribute through the hair, and the scent is amazing. I used it on damp hair, applied it in sections, combed it through, and scrunched my waves before letting it air dry. It brought back my hair’s natural texture and left my waves soft, defined, and frizz-free for more than 24 hours. My hair looked healthier and more like itself. I’m very happy with the results.

I always use this on my wet hair. It does take a long time for my hair to air dry. It's dosen't leave my hair greasy. It's fragrance free to me. It leaves my hair soft.

All of Sheamoisture products are good in my opinion. This one allows my waves to show, not weigh them down or straighten them. Just love it.

Product is easy to apply, used it on damp hair after toweling dry after showering. It’s like using hair mask. Texture feels good, not sticky. The scent is nice not overpowering. Hair is still soft after blow dry and curls were able to last.

This product lasted me 6+ months, but I do have short hair so keep that in mind. if your hair is naturally curly this product will definitely enhance your curls and it usually does so for about 8-10 hours (from one application), However if your hair is not naturally curly don't expect this product to make your hair curly.
