Grab them annoying ingrown hairs
f you struggle with stubborn ingrown hairs on your face, the Tweezerman Stainless Steel Splintertweeze is an absolute lifesaver. Finding a precision tool that is actually easy to grip can be tough, especially as a larger guy with smaller hands, but the design and tension on these tweezers make them incredibly comfortable to hold and control. The ultra-sharp, pointed tips easily isolate and lift out deeply embedded facial hairs without tearing up the surrounding skin or leaving angry red marks behind. Because they are made of heavy-duty stainless steel, they don’t bend, flex, or lose their exact alignment even after regular use. It completely takes the frustration out of dealing with painful ingrown beard hairs.

Perfect tweezers!
Okay, so who gets excited about a pair of tweezers, right? I do. These are the only tweezers I use. After looking, buying, and using crummy tweezers for years, I finally found these and they are just what I needed. I've concluded that all other tweezers just don't have the quality and performance that this brand does. I won't buy anything else. I used to order these directly from manufacturer and when I went to their site, they were out. Contacted them and it was going to be a little while before they were back in stock. I wasn't sure if Amazon had these but did the search and found the identical tweezers I wanted and ordered two pair. I like these because they have a sharp point and are good for tiny fine hair or coarser brows, depending on your needs. There is a learning curve with them though. Because of the sharp point, you have to be very careful about getting too close to the skin to avoid damaging (and possibly scarring) your skin from continued and prolonged use. I've used these tweezers for years and would be lost without them. I always keep a pair handy in case I lose (which I have done) or damage (be careful not to drop as this can warp the tips from 'meeting' and grabbing the hair) a set. Great buy and they work!

Works really well
I had a pair of these a while back and lost them. I was so sad, bought these and they work wonderful! Not like other tweezers where you have to question if they’re actually good or not

Perfectly Aligned Tips
After purchasing a pair of Tweezerman slant tweezers and finding them excellent, I decided to buy this pair of "needle point" tweezers to deal with fine wood or metal splinters. Their overall length is 4 and 5/16 inches. Their tips are definitely pointy, but not as sharp as a needle. I would ballpark them at around half a millimeter. So, for deeply buried splinters or hairs, you may still need to use a needle. That said, the tips are extremely precisely aligned. How good are they? Well, as I was measuring the tweezers for this review, I noticed a hair that measured about a millimeter long lying flat on the piece of paper in front of me. I tried picking it up with the tweezers, and had no problem. I tried five more times, turning the tweezers over to be sure that one side did not grip better than the other, and it worked each time. Now that's a good tweezer! Keep in mind that these are probably not a good 'all purpose' tweezer. Depending on how hard you squeeze them together, the contact area measures anywhere from hard-to-see-with-the-naked-eye to about a millimeter. That's not enough surface area to give a strong grip on anything but hairs and fine splinters. For larger objects, you'll want the slant tip style, which contacts across a much wider tip, therefore giving you a better grip. (Incidentally, Tweezerman's slant tip tweezers also have relatively sharp tips on them.) These come with a rubber tip protector. It's a good idea to keep them in this when you're not using them. With tips so fine, I'm sure that accidentally dropping them tip first would bend them out of alignment. For most tweezer tasks, Tweezerman's Slant Tip Tweezers will do just fine. But if you have some work to do that's a little more delicate, buy these with confidence!

Great for grabbing fine hair
I bought three different tweezers (all the same style) to see which were the best. I mainly use them to remove ingrown hairs after I shave or maybe a splinter. I might also use them to pull a random stray hair. I purchased the following: Sally Hansen Stray Hair Beware-Needle Point Tweezers Tweezes Professional Point Ingrown Hair Splinter Tip Tweezers Tweezerman Ingrown Hair Splintertweeze The Sally Hansen are the worst (1 star). They are so poorly made that they won't even grab the thickest of hair. The tips are too big/blunt and the tips don't meet accurately and evenly, so no matter what you do the hair just slides through the tweezers. These are cheap in price, but are useless except for maybe picking up small screws and bolts? The Tweezes brand are sort of okay for larger splinters (2 Stars). They won't grab any fine hairs, they might grab a really think hair. Kind of hit or miss. The hair often slides through. The tips are long and fine, which is good. For the price, I really wanted this one to work, but it wasn't ideal. The Tweezerman (silver) Splintweeze are quite good (4 stars). I have owned several of these. They last about 3 months then they are no good anymore. The tips move, bend, or just don't work anymore. However, when they do work these are very good! They will grab very fine hairs and the hair won't slide through. They are more expensive, but they actually work. Hope this review helps people to not waste money on products that don't work and buy ones that do.

Not very sharp — defeats the purpose
Living in a 100 year old building with old wood floors, I got these tweezers specifically for splinter removal. I thought they'd be extremely sharp, needle-nose tweezers, much like biomedical tweezers. Unfortunately, that is not the case. You can press them firmly against your skin without feeling a sharp sensation. Ironically, the *regular* Tweezerman slant-angle tweezers are sharper. I got both at the same time, and I ended up using the regular tweezers to remove a splinter than I could not successfully remove with the Splintertweeze.

Remove Splinters Not Cause Them
I was looking for a set of solid, quality tweezers that I could depend on. Tweezerman seemed to have a good reputation so I ordered 3 different pairs in Classic Stainless. (1) Slant Tweezer (2) Point Tweezer (3) Ingrown Hair / Splinter Tweezer. My initial reaction after receiving them is that they seem nice with tips that form a tight grip. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the edges along the handle on all three pairs were not “finished” well and had metal shavings / metal splinters. See attached photos. I had to sand the handle edges with 400 grit sandpaper to remove the metal splinters on all three pairs of tweezers. Pros: o Tips grip well and meet flush o Stainless steel material of good quality Cons: o Poor manufacturing process for handles o Poor quality control of handles o Relatively expensive Conclusion: I decided to keep all three pairs after sanding the handle edges to remove metal shavings and metal splinters. If I were to purchase Tweezerman again, I would buy the “coated” ones as the coating may eliminate this problem with the rough handle edges. Also, I probably wouldn’t purchase the “Ingrown Hair / Splinter Tweezer” since the tip seems almost identical to their “Point Tweezer”. Tweezermans are expensive. The regular 3.69” tweezers needed to be purchased separately and were not sold in sets at time of purchase (only the mini/petite size seemed to be sold in paired sets). Tweezer Guru sells a nice set of four tweezers which I also own – the tips aren’t quite as precise as the Tweezerman, but you get a set of 4 different tweezers for about half the price of just one Tweezerman tweezer. Country of Manufacture: All three pairs were made in India by Tweezerman India.

Super wouldn’t use anything else
Super as I would expect. This is not the first time for tweezerman. I wouldn’t use anything else now. Their quality is like what you got back in the 60’s & 70’s well made and precise. Thank you tweezerman.
