The pad was delivered on time. It came folded up in a clear plastic zipped bag that can be used for storage later. The pad does have a chemically "new" smell to it but I washed it before use with unscented laundry detergent once and the smell went away. We have a very tall pillow top king bed and this pad covers it perfectly. We purchased this to protect our bed from small infant spit up events when our daughter is napping on our bed and it has not let us down. It prevents small spills from going straight through while remaining breathable which is important to me. It's inexpensive and does its job.
