The only problem is that the manufacturer does not provide detailed instructions on how to mount the seat covers on a 2000 BMW Z3 roadster. You have to lift the seats of the floor fastenings (you need a socket wrench for the two rear bolts, and you need a long leverage, perhaps a torque wrench), but you do not have to remove the seats out of the car. Once off the floor, the seats can be tilted towards the inside, the outer seat rails resting on the bottom of the door opening. Remove the side parts (three screws: one in front, two on the side of the seat) which contain the switch to move the seats up and down, and back and forwards. The electric supply cables are long enough and do not have to be separated. Then the elastic cover fasteners can be pulled and connected under the seat from side to side and front to rear, use a stiff wire with a hook if necessary. Cut a hole in the cover where the two side screws have to go through. It is however one of the least expensive and best options I've found for z3 seat covers. I got the red leather, because my car is red leather, and the color is way off and super off putting.
